It was a very nice tour. First the waterfalls. Later Joel took us to Fiji museum and near park. We enjoyed it much.

This tour was pretty awful. I booked it as a ~30 year old solo traveler, and received a message saying that the minimum was 2 to book, so I could either cancel or join a group of 4. I requested to join the group of 4. I should have cancelled. I got a message saying pickup was at 12:30. At 12:06, I got a call saying the driver had arrived and I was late. I rushed out of the hotel and got in the car, at which point we drove to the cruise ship terminal and sat there about 30 minutes waiting. We then drove to Colo-I-Suva park, where we waited another 20 minutes before I was asked to transfer from the car to a bus. There were ~10 people on the bus and every one was about 65-80 years old and said they were not going to be walking or swimming. We then drove into the park and then commenced on the slowest walk ever over about .5 kilometers given the geriatric age and speed of the rest of the people to a small waterfall. The guide stopped once to point out a termite mound in a tree base. After one photograph we immediately walked back to the bus. In the parking lot I was told that I shouldn’t have been allowed to book the tour as a solo traveler. The male guide said that they had specially accommodated me and asked if I wanted to do the short or long hike. I said long. The female guide said that we would do the short one. The male guide said that we could do whatever I wanted. The car I had originally come in now showed back up with four additional elder people, who were really upset because they’d apparently been left at the cruise terminal by the bus. I sat there while the guides tried to smooth things over, but accepted no responsibility for leaving early. I then was instructed to get back into the car with the female guide. We drove further into the park and then took a very short walk to another waterfall and pool. The guide was extremely out of shape and was breathing heavily and walking very slowly even though it was quite a short and not-very-steep trail. When we got to the waterfall, I was the only non-local there and received stares and glares from ~40 or so people. I don’t think that they should have welcomed me - I think that the guide should not have taken me into a local space without local consent. I asked to leave almost immediately and we walked back to the car in silence. The guide then told me that we were going to join the bus and tour the town of Nausori. I told her that I had booked a Colo-I-Suva nature and waterfall tour, and if we couldn’t do that I just wanted to go back to the hotel. There are 6+ km of trails and multiple waterfalls and pools in Colo-I-Suva. I highly recommend you get a taxi in and explore it yourself. This tour was truly horrible, ill managed, and uncomfortable. I especially disliked how they made it seem like my fault for booking as a solo traveler, and that they were specially accommodating me, when they were the ones who said I could join the other group - except it turned out that group was on a completely different itinerary than the one advertised here.

We had a delayed start due to medical emergency being handed by peter. Once we got to the hiking area, we had another 45 minute delay, waiting for Peter once again. Our driver (Gerry) decided to Take our small group of four into the trails by himself. At one point, we were led on to a path that was impassable and unsafe and we were forced to backtrack. While on the unsafe, impassible trail, one of our group members fell and injured her shoulder. This shoulder injury required medical attention upon returning to the ship. A nearly five hundred dollar charge was incurred for medical attention and x rays. Continued care and imaging will be required at the end of our vacation. it is suspected that there is soft Tissue damage to the shoulder area. There was massive confusion regarding our itinerary after the hike. A confirmation email was sent the night before that included many more stops after the hike. But we were told that was sent to us in error. If this was our first Viator experience, we would never go on another. A refund and reimbursement of medical expenses is expected.

Excellent tour company! The forest was only around 25 mins from the cruise ship terminal. Walking through the forest was actually better with water shoes and there were several areas that our runners were totally submerged in the flowing river. The swimming pools were nice but a bit murkey.

Tour was with Peter! So very knowledgable about all aspects of Fiji. He was very friendly and the surprising part; we realized he spoke French as well so we continued our tour in French. The scenery is spectacular, the pools and waterfalls so refreshing. A must do if you’re in the area! 🇫🇯 Thanks for this adventure.

Would definitely recommend this tour to anyone travelling to Suva. Our guides were fantastic, they were very friendly, shared lots of local knowledge and genuinely nice to talk to. We went on the rainforest/waterfall tour with our children and parents, we liked the relaxed pace, no one felt rushed. The swim in the pool under the waterfall was amazing! We wish we had found these guys early on in our trip as we would have got them to take us on other tours around the area. Thankyou Peter, John and Joe for a great day.

We had an excellent afternoon. We were able to discover the life and culture of the island and the sublime landscapes of the reserve. We appreciated the kindness, presence and explanations of our guide. We will not hesitate to use Kay service again if we have the opportunity to return to Fiji! We recommend with your eyes closed!

We booked a private tour with Peter. Communication was excellent before our arrival. As Peter had a separate private tour booked, our driver was Peter's wife (sorry, we forgot her name!) and the tour guide was Michael. We started at one of the 'pagan' temple sites. It was fascinating and also had a very nice walk with it. Since it was Sunday, many people in the area were going to church in town and we were lucky to hear in the near distance a drum being used to call the parishioners to their church. We then went to Colo-i-Suva Forest Park to hike and to bathe (if we wanted to) in a natural pool with a waterfall. Peter and his tour joined us for our hike down. Peter and Michael were excellent at showing us the flora and explaining things to us. We went to one of the lower falls, passing many groups bathing in the upper falls and the various pools. Our site was much further and was well worth the effort. We had the pool all to ourselves and Peter's private tour. The water was cold but the swimming was so, so good. Do not pass on going into the water. It is amazing. After hiking back to our car, we were brought into town. We were taken to the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart and we saw the drum used to call the parishioners, there. Absolutely excellent company, fantastic tour, great people. We cannot recommend this tour and company enough. You need to book with them. Thank you, Peter, Michael, and Peter's wife!!!
