Inside Angkor Thom, stroll towards Bayon—identified by a series of smiling faces etched into its upper terrace and central peak. Before concluding your visit to Angkor Thom, explore the famous Terrace of the Leper King and the Terrace of the Elephants.
Ta Prohm
Ta Prohm—a temple set in the midst of the jungle. Wander the maze-like ruins of this ornate worship site, marveling at the fig trees that threaten to overtake the edifice.
Pre Rup
inally, revel in sunset at lovely Pre Rup—a temple built in dedication to the Hindu god Shiva
Tonle Sap Lake
he Tonle Sap one of the world’s most productive bodies of fresh water. In the wet season, the Tonle Sap Lake swells to 12,000 km². During the dry half of the year, the lake shrinks to as small as 2,500 km², draining into the Tonle Sap River. Each year, millions of fish come to spawn in the seasonally flooded forest surrounding the lake, attracting a myriad of water birds as well as people, who have settled in villages along the shores and who live with the rhythm of the water. This ecosystem was classified as a Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO in 1997. Take a boat trip to ‘Kampong Phluk’ a collection of three small fishing villages in an atmospheric flooded forest setting. Cruise through the village and see unique houses on stilts, and Cambodians at work in the floating forest. Our boat will meander slowly through forest canals, allowing you to catch glimpses of flora and fauna, and see a truly beautiful eco-system.

Our Siem Reap tour guide Pi (Journey Cambodia) was exceptional, leading us through our 2 days: Tonle Sap Lake, the crocodile farm, Angkor Wat, and Ta Prohm (Tomb Raider temple), timing our visits perfectly to avoid the impact of crowds, especially for the breathtaking Angkor Wat sunrise. Our boys (14-21) absolutely loved him, a testament to his ability to connect with and inspire travelers of all ages. his great sense of humor, engaging personality & his top photo tricks produced some amazing photos that captured the beauty of each location. We cannot recommend Pi highly enough. We had an incredible two-day experience in Siem Reap with our guide, Pi. On Day 1, we enjoyed a boat trip to a floating village, where we saw crocodiles and learned about the local fishermen's authentic lifestyles. Day 2 featured a breathtaking sunrise at Angkor Wat, followed by visits to three other stunning temples. Pi was exceptional—courteous, knowledgeable, and humorous—engaging our entire family throughout the journey. His insights made our experience unforgettable, and we highly recommend him to anyone visiting Siem Reap! Definitely a 5 star guide.

We had a private tour for three days: 1 day Kulen national park + tonle sap with sunset. Then two days of temples, with one of these days a sunrise. Our guide was Cchay, and our driver Vichet. And we can only say that this was a fantastic experience! These were our first three days in Cambodia. Chhay and Vichet were so friendly and cordial to us. Chhay told us a lot of interesting and educational stories about the culture in Cambodia, the temples, the history and this in a very fascinating way. The temples, large and small temples, well-known and lesser-known temples, that we visited were all beautiful. A very good selection was made. We were also given the choice during the tour of how to schedule a day so that we didn't do too much at once. Chhay also always came up with good tips and ideas to make our tour more efficient so we could avoid the large mass of tourists. We enjoyed from the beginning to the end and can only say thank you very much for the nice days and the fine, good, clear, fast communication with Chhay, Vichet and the organization!! Definitely recommended!!! 👍👍👍 We also got tips for our further trip + private photo shoots in the most beautiful places 😉

On this two day Siem Reap tour, we had the most amazing tour guide in Mr Sopheap Tann, and our driver was Ousa. They both made us feel very welcome from the initial airport pick up and then the tours of the stunning Angkor Wat precinct and Tonle Sap Lake. The experience was truly fantastic, with total attention to detail, along with the bright and positive atmosphere, made the two days we spent with them a real pleasure. I would have no hesitation recommending these two particular people to anybody else for taking a Siem Reap tour. Mr Tann, was one of the best tour guides we have ever had, and surely one of the best assets that can be had on your visit to Cambodia.

Saruon Pal was very energetic and knowledgeable. His positivity helped guide us through the temples in the heat. And the water and towels on the bus were much needed refreshment

We had such an incredible time on our 7-day private tour with Journey Cambodia! It was a breeze from start to finish. When planning our trip, we had great communication with lots of flexibility. The best part of our experience was our incredible guide and his driver, Sam and Bun. Sam was so knowledgeable about everything we saw - temples, history, etc. Bun was a very safe and nice driver. They truly went above and beyond to make our visit so memorable and hospitable. Thank you and highly recommend!

We had the most amazing privet tour with Mr. Bun. We are a family of 5, 2 parents and 3 teenagers, and we couldn't have picked a more knowledgable guide to lead us through the magic of the temples and the fishermen village of Tonle Sap. Mr. Bun was so patient and full of knowledge and his personal story was fascinating. The 3 day tour was remarkably planned, we've seen all the main attractions without crowds of tourists and the experience was overwhelming and exhilarating. We can't recommend this tour enough. We already want to visit again. Thank you!
