The tour starts in the magical city of Barcelona, where a private driver will take you to some of the city’s most famous attractions, including la Sagrada Familia, la Casa Batlló, la Pedrera, Paseo de Gracia, as well as Montjuïc and Port Olímpic.
Then, head outside the city towards the stunning mountain of Montserrat, where you will visit the famous Black Madonna and the historic Benedictine abbey of Montserrat. Roundtrip transportation from your hotel or port is included.
Your driver will not join you while you visit your desired stops by foot or while you go inside a monument; your driver will be inside the vehicle waiting for you.

Abadia de Montserrat
Montserrat is a rock mass considered traditionally as the most important mountain of Catalonia. It is located 30 km apart from the center of Barcelona, between the regions of Anoia, Baix Llobregat and Bages. In this mountain you will find the Santuario y Monasterio benedictino de Montserrat (a benedictine abbey), dedicated to the cult of the Madonna of Montserrat. The word "Mont" means "mount" and "Serrat" means "Sawed" in Catalan. The name "Montserrat" comes from its peculiar shape: it looks like someone tried to saw it with a giant saw.

Driver Angel was very good on the windy roads to Monserrat and Cristina was an excellent guide with so much information about history and all the beautiful sites we went to. Cristina found the perfect Tappas with Payila that was delicious. It was a wonderful day!

2.00Carlos, the driver, seemed unmotivated and unprepared. He was asking us how to organize the tour in terms of which sites to see first, which seemed strange, considering it was our first time in Barcelona. He seemed more of a driver than a guide, which was disappointing. He miscalculated our pick up at Montserrat, which resulted in us having to wait for him for almost an hour, with my daughter suffering from serious Jetlag. He never informed us that access to any points of interest at Montserrat, like the Basilica, required purchasing tickets in advance for a particular timeslot, which also resulted in us having to wait over 45 minutes to get inside the basilica. I ended up having him drop us off at the our hotel and not doing any of the Barcelona sites. If I had wanted a cab driver, I would’ve arranged accordingly. This was the first time that I had this bad of an experience through Viator.

5.00Pedro our driver was very accommodating and allowed us to spend more time in Montserrat. We had already toured most of the city on previous day - this allowed us more time in Montserrat. Very interesting location and we were able to return to the city by an alternate route to view more of the area. Great Tour!
