Get a taste and feel of Bergen on this 3-hour city sightseeing tour run by a professional driver-guide in a comfortable car. We will be stopping at the main sights in the centre of Bergen. We will also visit some of the sights and museums located outside city centre.

Car on this tour is one of our Mercedes minivans. When only 3 people are going on this tour, we may use our Tesla Model X. All of our cars have Passenger Transport Licence. For a bigger bite and more taste of our beautiful town, please, check out the 4- and 5-hour tour options.

What To Expect
Bergen
Your private English speaking driver-guide picks you up at your hotel in Bergen centre and your tour begins. First part of the excursion gives you an introduction to Bergen’s centre: medieval Bergenhus fortress, Bryggen embankment, the Hanseatic quarters, the Fish market, the National Theatre – are all located in the centre of Bergen and are worth stopping by and learning their history. On the second part of this tour, you have several options to choose from, depending on your interests and preferences. During a 3-hour tour we can offer following coices:
Troldhaugen Edvard Grieg Museum
Option 1: A trip to Edvard Grieg’s museum and villa Troldhaugen, where the great composer lived and worked (entrance tickets required).

5.00We booked a private half day tour and we really enjoyed ourselves. Our guide arrived on time, she had a beautiful luxury car, and she offered us bottled water. Our guide spoke perfect English and she was very knowledgeable. I wish that we could have spent more time with her. I would definitely book again if I return to Bergen.

He was cheerful and made the visit so worthwhile. We use Viator for all tours and usually find that they have great tour guides. I strongly recommend them!

5.00We booked a six-hour private tour in Bergen, Norway with JANDIS AS on May 23, and had the pleasure of being guided by Vlad, the owner and operator of the company. From the moment we met Vlad, it was clear he has a genuine passion for guiding and sharing Norwegian history and culture. His enthusiasm is contagious, and his deep knowledge of western Norway made the entire experience unforgettable. Tours can be fully customized—either curated by Vlad or tailored to your interests and preferences. Our journey began at Gamlehaugen, the Royal Castle, where we enjoyed a walk through the scenic grounds. Next, we visited the Edvard Grieg Museum, where Vlad gave an engaging and insightful tour of the composer’s life and work. From there, we ventured beyond Bergen to explore majestic waterfalls and breathtaking natural sites. We wrapped up the day at the Bergen Fish Market and the area surrounding the Fløibanen funicular, soaking in the lively atmosphere and beautiful views. Vlad provided snacks, bottled water, and soda for everyone, and the minibus was brand new and fully equipped with the latest technology. Throughout the trip, he entertained us with bits of Norwegian humor and taught us about the famous “Five F’s” of Norway: Fjell (mountain), Fjord (far), Foss (waterfall), Fonn (glacier), and Fisk (fish). Vlad truly went above and beyond to make our experience memorable. We highly recommend him and JANDIS AS for anyone looking to explore Norway. By the end of the tour, we didn’t just say goodbye to a guide—we said goodbye to a friend who felt like family.

5.00This was a wonderful tour in a magnificent city with a world-class tour guide. No question, Bergen is a magical city and Vlad, our tour guide, made it even more spectacular. Our family has a special interest in Grieg. Vlad jumped right on this and seemed to tailor the tour especially to our interests. Vlad is extremely personable and his love for Bergen is infectious. His years of experience was most evident with his vast knowledge of the locale. Not only did we have a very in depth guiding of important Grieg sites, during which Vlad offered incredible historical insights, but we had a great overview of Bergen. We then segued from this tour to a nice personal exploration of the city. We hope to visit Bergen again, at some time. But most importantly we will encourage other family members to enlist Vlad for a tour when they are fortunate enough to visit this beautiful city.

4.00We were able to see several Bergen highlights during our tour but were cut a little short on time because their. previous tour ran long and we had an all aboard time to meet. I recommend doing your research ahead to let them know where you want to go so they can tailor your tour to you. I also suggest a 4 hour tour to not feel as rushed. Vlad was very informative and knew Bergen well. He did make the most of our time!
