Come and join us to Crab Island (Pulau Ketam) by ferry, the authentic local island for a short and quick gateway from Kuala Lumpur together with our local guide or driver. Great opportunity to experience different side of Malaysian’s fisherman lifestyle and eat freshly caught seafood at the local restaurant with an amazing sea views. To end the tour, we will stop at Selangor King Palace, Blue Mosque and Thean Hou Temple before transfer you back to your hotel.

What To Expect

On the way back to your hotel in Kuala Lumpur, we will stop at Selangor King Palace, Blue Mosque and Thean Hou Temple for some photography session and unforgettable experience. Our driver will transfer you back to your hotel safely after a wonderful trip.
Pulau Ketam
This tour will starts after pick you up from your hotel lobby in Kuala Lumpur around 9am and head to Port Klang Jetty. Embark on a ferry at the jetty and depart to Crab Island (Pulau Ketam), a small island located off the coast of Klang and well known for fishery. Upon arrival on the island, you will see floating houses perched on wooden stilts above sea level. Take this opportunity to witness and experience the unique lifestyle of fisherman and wandering around by yourself. There is no cars or motorcycles on the island, everybody walks or uses their bicycle. If you love fresh seafood, then this island is a perfect place for you. There are plenty of seafood restaurants offering freshly caught seafood with affordable prices. Give a try the local Lala omelette (clams meat fried with eggs) and deep friend prawn balls, you will never regret with the taste. Our driver will assist you to the restaurant around noon and most awaiting mouth-watering seafood lunch set will be served with healthy herbal Chinese tea.

5.00We had a private tour with Prabaz and it was definitely a highlight of our visit in Kuala Lumpur and worth the price. Crab island itself is worth a visit, the ferry ride through the mangroves very interesting and the seafood lunch we had was delicious. Our tour started at 9 and lasted into the afternoon, which was a perfect length. The drive itself was very interesting as Prabaz told us many interesting facts about Malaysia. He took great care of us, answering any questions we had. I would definitely recommend this tour.

5.00A lovely place to visit and Kimber was such a fabulous guide. We enjoyed an amazing seafood lunch in a really simple restaurant and we also enjoyed a deep fried ice cream. Kimber was very knowledgeable and customised the tour to suit our interests.

5.00What a contrast from busy KL. A great day out an hours drive and relaxing 40 minute boat ride from the city to the island. Walk or electric scooter around the villages taking in the beautiful temples and the locals going about their day and finish with a delicious seafood lunch before the return trip and another temple stop on the way home. Yuvanesh our driver paced the day just right was friendly and a wealth of information. 10/10

5.00An island little known by mass tourism, where there are no cars but only bicycles and electric scooters. You walk among the many colors of the houses accompanied by local music. We had lunch in a local restaurant enjoying some delicious fresh fish. Our very professional and kind Guide "Gunalan" accompanied us on this excursion offering us at the end of the meal delicious local snacks.

4.00Great location for pictures - very colorful. Enjoyed getting out of Kuala Lumpur. We were the only foreign tourists - everyone else was either local or had come over from the mainland. We had crab in one of the local restaurants - very messy but excellent. Our guide was knowledgeable and really paid attention to our needs/requests.
