Join an immersive experience, ideal for enthusiasts and curious. Guided by a Destination Expert with over 10 years of experience, you will visit two exceptional wineries in the Barolo and Barbaresco areas, one in the morning and one in the afternoon, meeting the producers and tasting their wines. This is not just a tour, but an authentic experience that connects you with the soul of the region. Lunch break will be held in a traditional Osteria, where you can sample local culinary specialties (cost not included).

We will visit 2 wineries, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. Here we will take a tour of the premises where the wine is produced and then we will taste the wines of the company, which will be told to us by those who produce them or by the Sommelier of the winery.

Riste was very friendly and helpful. He picked us up from our hotel on time and the car was nice and tidy. He was very knowledgeable about the region and gave us some helpful tips on wine tasting. We visited two wineries and tried a dozen wines of great quality. The staff in both were extremely friendly and open to any questions. We ended up ordering a few cases of wine and Riste was extremely kind to help us with the shipping.

We highly recommend this outstanding & unique tour in this beautiful wine region. Riste gave us a truly unique & welcoming experience in the Barolo & Barbersco wine regions. The booking, communication & meeting / drop off practicalities were excellent. The vehicle was clean & comfortable. Riste spoke impeccable English & has an expert knowledge of wine. He took us to 2 beautiful family run boutique wineries where we were able to have an expert explanation of the subregions & wines before enjoying some wonderful exemplar wines of the beautiful areas. Riste booked us a beautiful restaurant for lunch in a lovely old village. We had a wonderful day exploring the wines of this lovely part of Italy. Thank you Riste for a lovely day. Monica & Adam

My wife and I did a private wine tour of Barolo and Barbaresco with Riste He was this able to organise the tour to our tastes preferences, focused on red wines. He was also able to pick us up in Asti (due to train timetable did not work to get to Alba at a convenient time) We went to two family wineries meeting the owners. Both Riste and the owners were amazingly informative about the terroir, wine growing history, the particular wineries and so on. Side by side tastings of wines of the same type were fascinating. We had lunch at a lovely restaurant with fantastic views

I had the best time on this experience! We toured two wineries, as well as did tastings and also got to see the beautiful views of the Langhe region. I not only had an expert wine opinion but also photographer as well, since the guide took many photos for me! Overall I loved this experience, 10/10. When I return to Alba I will absolutely be booking again!

My husband and I took this wine tour with Riste on Oct. 1 and could not be more pleased with our experience. Booking was very easy through TripAdvisor and we were contacted early on as to how we wanted to spend lunch. We chose the option to eat in a local Osteria (yum) and Riste made to reservation for us. He was great at communicating pick up in the town we were staying ( La Morrra) and time. The morning of our tour it was foggy and were so glad that we had a local who knew the area to drive. Riste is so knowledgeable about the region and the wines and took us to one family winery in each of the Barolo and Barbaresco area. He has even arranged for us to ship back the wine that we bought. We will definitely contact him if we are going back to the Langhe. Grazie mille Riste!

I'll start by saying it was incredible experience! Riste knows the subtleties of the various wine regions around Barolo and the entire piedmonte Appalachian. He is very connected to his community. He took us to two wineries, both family owned and operated. We learned a lot about the piedmonte wine Appalachian.

Absolutely impeccable from start to finish! The car was spotless, and he was incredibly kind, punctual, and attentive. Full of local knowledge and great conversation. we truly became friends by the end of the trip. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful time wine tasting in Piedmont on a personalized tour by the very friendly and knowledgeable guide, Riste. He curated an experience for us through WineTourism.com making several stops to taste different types of wines, and providing expert advice. He even coordinates shipping purchases back to your home. Highly recommend!

Absolutely phenomenal experience. Riste was right on time, picking us up from the Alba train station. Car was new and clean and he was beyond friendly and personable, speaking great English. Took us to 2 incredible wineries around Alba and booked us a lunch at a sensational restaurant. Could not recommend this experience enough. Thank you again Riste, made our trip!

Phenomenal experience, visited wineries both in barolo and barbaresco regions. Tours of the wineries were top notch and our guides were both knowledgeable and passionate. Riste was a wonderful guide and sommelier during our tour and was very personable. Very easy to meet up/drop off where we needed to be, and we had a wonderful choice of lunch options thanks to him. He ended up choosing a beautiful osteria for us in one of the small villages in the barbaresco region and both the food and views were out of this world. Ended up buying and shipping home a case of wine between the two wineries. Would very much recommend the tour to anyone interested in wines in this stunning part of the world!
