What To Expect
Old Quarter
08:30: We pick you up from your hotel departure for Halong Bay by Car / Van depend on size of group by the Express Way. This is one of the best express ways in the North of Vietnam , you will enjoy the beautiful of countryside with the ricefields , rivers , fruit gardens and biggest port named HaiPhong on the way. It takes you about 2 hours and 30 minutes to arrive Tuanchau Marina.

11:00 Arrive Tuan Chau Island which is located in the north-west of Halong Bay, 8 km south-west of Ha Long City. Tuan Chau Marina is an official gateway to Halong Bay, the first Marina is for day cruises. You will check in on Cruise from here

5.00Excellent communication in what’s app from the day we booked. Easy to book, answered many questions & explained everything before we even arrived Once we arrived, the driver & the guide Hai was outstanding. Along the van ride Hai explained everything on the way & told us what we were passing Spent day relaxing on boat on ha long bay stopped at cave site & went on a rowboat ride. Fed us an abundance of food & even asked us before hand some of our preferences It is a long car ride, but definitely worth the long day.

5.00Our guide Hai and driver Tuyen were very professional. They arrived to pick us up early. Great communication and follow up. We had an amazing day thanks to our guide. It was supposed to be a shared cruise, but got “upgraded” to a private cruise and my family of six had the whole boat to ourselves! We were able to enjoy the peacefulness of the Bay and loved kayaking in less touristy area. The only small negative was I did not care for the relentless pressure selling by one lady on board to buy fashion jewelry/trinkets we did not need. But the staff was kind and our group enjoyed the lunch. Hai definitely made our private excursion special. Thank you! I would definitely recommend booking with Love Vietnam Travel if you plan to go to Halong Bay!

5.00The day trip is perfect from Hanoi. Ride was comfortable for 6 and the tour guide, Hai, is very sweet. I’m glad we got him to answer questions and share more about the culture and history of Ha Long Bay. Seafood lunch on the boat was fine, plentiful for us. We avoided a lot of the tourist crowds taking the route the company planned.
