What To Expect
West Bay
In short, the best beach in Central America and one of the best in the Caribbean where you can enjoy the second largest coral reef in the world, in addition to its crystal clear, calm waters, and soft sand under your feet. You can take photos at the Light House and the Meridian hotel west bay (includes beach chairs, bathrooms and showers).
Roatan Rum Company
Rum and Cake Factory in West Bay. A mandatory stop if you like artisanal rum of different types and flavors such as chocolate rum, coconut, mango, pineapple, among others, in addition to the rich and tasty cakes with a light touch of rum and if that were not enough A photograph behind the factory will show you an exceptional viewpoint.

5.00Our family group of three booked an all-day excursion to eastern Roatan with Cristian Trejo. Our driver/guide Mikey was excellent. We saw sloths, macaws, and capuchin monkeys up close; spent delightful time at Brady's Cay (and saw a huge lobster up-close); toured several small bays and mangroves west of Oak Ridge; enjoyed a superb lunch (in the mangroves, no mosquitoes!); and saw a Garifuna drum circle in Punta Gorda. Everything went smoothly, comfortably, beautifully. A special day in a special place. Thanks so much

5.00Christian was an amazing tour guide and knew so much about the island. I highly recommend him for any of your travel needs while in Roatan! He showed us the best horseback riding on the island and gave us amazing restaurant recommendations.

5.00Darbie was awesome! We had an amazing time visiting Honduras for the first time! We went out to West End with 6 people. Had a comfortable van to accomodate us. She showed us the best destinations for beaches, souvenirs and local food. She’s very knowledgeable about Roatán and the culture and people, super friendly, fluent in both Spanish and English and has a great personality. We would highly recommend Darbie if you are wanting to take in as much as you can about Roatan. We only had one day to explore but she knows the whole island if you have multiple days to visit.
