People should realize the UNESCO town of San Giminano is amazing and much more involved then we had realized. Our guide (whom we do not have her name) was able to give us so much history of the town and interesting facts. We would definately use her again. The buildings were incredible with the type of architecture that was used. A tour not to be missed.

Throughout our travels, we've learned that if we go it alone, the impression we get can't go beyond a "pretty/picturesque city." To understand the stones and buildings you see, you have to turn to experts. Without the tour, we would not have been able to understand why San Gimignano has so many towers, understand why it was built in that location, identify relevant buildings (such as the Order of Malta) or see the marks of machine guns from the Second World War. Our guide was very entertaining, keeping my teenagers attentive the entire time.

Our tour was fabulous! It was a private tour with just two of us, my friend and I and the guide, Ludovica who was great. I had been to Siena before and had been on Tours, but until I took this tour, I really never understood the differences between the different areas and the flags and the pendants and the pageantry. Ludovica brought us to different parts of the city and explained to us all these aspects. She was funny, she was knowledgeable, she was a great teacher to explain Siena to us, and we were very grateful for that. If you ever have an opportunity to go to Siena, I would highly recommend our Tour Guide and guarantee you would have a wonderful time.

We had 4 children on this tour with us and 6 adults. Our tour guide did a wonderful job of making it interesting for all of us. She was very knowledgeable and flexible - we were there on a first communion day and the parade through the streets meant she needed to change her tour a bit but it was lovely. Highly recommend.
