We recently did a three day multi-generational family private tour with Topology Travel in Taipei, Taiwan. I worked with Chloe from their main office and our tour guide and driver was Logan for the actual tour. Both Chloe and Logan were excellent. Chloe helped me plan a wonderful tour that started from the moment we landed in Taipei. The tour was well organized and thoughtfully planned to accommodate our group of 5, which ranged in ages 16 - 79. Logan was always punctual, polite and extremely helpful. He was also very knowledgeable and personable. Logan is the best! We very much enjoyed our tour and can't say enough great things about Topology Travel! We were extremely happy with our tour and would definitely work with them again!

Chanced upon them while searching for accessible travel for Taiwan. Corresponded via email with Core Liu thereafter who was very patient and took the effort to provide us with details regarding our trip. We were presently surprised when our transport turned out to be a large accessible bus for our family of 8. Accommodation provided were very nice and comfortable and both our guide (Fred) as well as driver were accommodative to our requests as well as mindful of the accessibility requirements throughout. Would definitely recommend going this company for anyone looking for accessible travel in Taiwan.

Our first time with Topology after recommendations from friends and colleagues. I communicated with Shirley in preparation for the trip. Shirley is very patient and prompt in her replies. I made a few changes throughout the planning stage and each time Shirley responded promptly, patiently and professionally. She even helped to check that the hotels I picked out were suitable for our stay, giving some suggestions along the way. She is flexible and accommodative. On one of the days, the bus driver was late and Shirley (Topology) was quick to do service recovery by treating us to a sumptuous lunch. We got Miss Vicky Chen as our guide for our 7 day trip there. On arrival Vicky greeted us with a friendly smile. She also did a very thorough introduction in the mini bus using a 3D map of Taiwan. Vicky ensured that we were safely checked in before leaving. Vicky is very knowledgeable and would often share interesting nuggets of information along the way. Given it's summer in Taiwan, she constantly reminded us to drink sufficient water to stay hydrated. She also made sure all of us has mosquito repellent on at all times (yes, she went around spraying mozzie repellent on each of our arms and legs) To the unfortunate few of us who got bitten, she readily whipped out her anti itch ointment to apply (she is well prepared and seem to have a Doraemon bag containing all necessities one can think of! She even chilled a packet of wet wipes for us) Throughout the trip she peppered us with mini quizzes complete with jellies as reward for answering correctly, to keep the children entertained. She was very flexible and made great impromptu suggestions whenever she felt it was getting too hot or we were too tired to continue walking. She was very attentive to our needs and would try her best to bring us to eat the food we wanted to try as well as helping us to book in advance certain foodstuff so that we could skip the queue. Not only that, she even treated us to treats along the way (Tea leave egg, mochis, etc to name a few). Knowing that it was my mother-in-law and sister-in-law's birthday, Vicky even went the extra mile of getting them a gift each (something to remember Taiwan by which made it al the more memorable for them) Shirley from Topology also prepared a cake. All in all, Vicky made this trip very memorable and fun for our whole family. She is patient and great with kids and attentive to everyone's needs to ensure we get the best experience possible for our visit to Taiwan. Our drivers (Mr Zhang when we were in Taipei and Mr Ling when we were in Hualien) were also very helpful and accommodative. They are always ready to help with luggage and their driving skills are superb. Once again, a big thank you to Topology (Shirley), our bus drivers and especially our guide Vicky Chen! Thank you for making our trip such a memorable and fun filled one and we look forward to our next trip to Taiwan again!

This is the first time I've booked the tour with Topology, the experience with them was fantastic! Penny who has communicated with me from beginning to the end, she is very responsive with all the questions I had or requested, and well informed about tour guide's info and pickup time. Our driver guide, Spencer was professional and friendly, he greeted us with a big smile and pointed at 3D Taiwan map (yes, I've never seen such a cool map) where we headed to. On our way to Yehliu National Geopark, Spencer described the background and history about the locations, we also had some fun chitchats along the way. He actually reminded me of Mr. Chow from Hangover, a fun personality and easy going. After arriving Yehliu, we went to the visitor center to watch a short film about rock formations and the entire park information. So there are three sections in the park, the first and second part are all about rocks and fossils, the third part is more mystery and challenge (I meant challenge is about the heat). Spencer led us away from the crowds to the narrow and uphill hikes, when I was going to call it quick, Spencer insured us that we were almost there and we would enjoy the cool breeze on the top. When we got to the top, I immediately sat down trying to catch my breath for a minute but Spencer encouraged me to stand where he was to feel the breeze, so I went with a doubt. Oh boy, I'm glad that he took us there, not only it was much cooler and the view of the ocean was so beautiful! After all this hard walk and rest, Spencer treated us the most delicious drink, mango smoothie! Thank you Spencer! After the lunch at a seafood restaurant, we started our final destination- Jiufen Gold Rush Town. We strolled through the old narrow street with full of foods and shops, since there were lots of tourists, Spencer always looked back and made sure that we were behind him. It was an interesting town, and we were told that all lanterns will lit up at night, oh well next time then. Fun time seems to pass by quickly, Spencer surely made our trip so memorable, we will always remember him and hopefully one day we will meet up again. =)

We had an amazing time in Taiwan! Allen from Topology was responsive throughout the planning stages. We have a child with many food allergies and requested an English-speaking guide to accompany us for the entire trip. We could not have been happier with Spencer! We spent 7 days with him touring Taipei, Jiufen, Yehliu National Park, Kaoshiung, and Kenting National Park. He kept that pace quick for the kids and most of our free time was spent exploring different markets sampling street food. Spencer kept my son safe during the entire trip, and by the end he was like a part of the family. Thank you Spencer and Topology!

We were a family of 13 that did 2 private day tours and airport transfers with Topology. Peter was excellent with all communications from the beginning. Airy was a wonderful bilingual guide thar really made us feel at home. The kids in our group also warmed up to her quickly. The included lunches were sumptuous and extensive. They are a little pricey but well worth every penny.
