Parque das Aves

It is a bird sanctuary with several species in captivity in which every individual has the background to be there, serving as examples for environmental education to sensibilise visitors about the illegal pet trade, conservation and how important is to know nature much closer. This place is super well-maintained and worth visiting. It is an extra tour but, if requested, we may stop there, this tour takes about 2 hours.

The view of the falls was fantastic but our guide Marcelo was what made this tour super special. He went above and beyond to make this one of the highlights of our trip and we cant recommend him highly enough. His knowledge of the wildlife, especially birds was exceptional and he was able to point out things we would never had seen on our own.

We booked Marcelo for Brazilian Falls tour. His catch phrase "the more you walk the better it gets" is true! He provided excellent tour of the stunning Brazilain Falls. He is very knowlegeable, accommodating, and speaks perfect English with an expansive vocabulary. He picked us up at our Argentina side hotel on time in nice comfortable car. He made everything very smooth and easy including border crossing, and coordinating our helicopter flight, and our boat ride.

Marcelo is an excellent tour guide with detailed knowledge of the flora and fauna of the Iguazu falls area. He is also a passionate naturalist and that resonated with my interest as well. He is very courteous and patient and was a joy to interact with. Would love to do other tours with him in the future.

Amazing full day tour of both sides of the Falls, spectacular views well planned with a comfortable pace. Marcelo is the BEST guide, with extensive knowledge of the history, flora, and fauna. My son and I thoroughly recommend Marcelo and I plan to return in the near future for a birding tour.
