With this visit, you will take a tour of the area with the greatest monumental concentration in Seville, where the Alcázar, the Archive of the Indies and the Cathedral are located, which are buildings that have been declared a World Heritage Site by Unesco. At the height of the Cathedral we can see the Giralda, 104 meters high and with ramps so that Muslims could climb on horseback when they were summoned to prayer.
We will continue through the town hall, which is located in the Plaza Nueva, where the most expensive shops in the city are located. Then we will have the opportunity to see the Plaza del Salvador, an ideal place to have a beer. We will continue on our way to the river from which you can see the bridges and even the canoeists.
We will continue through the San Telmo Palace and the Tobacco Factory, which is the headquarters of the University of Seville, where future applicants to study a degree must register. Finishing in the Plaza de España.

What To Expect
Plaza del Triunfo
It is a square where the most visited monuments of the city are located and where the tunos of the different faculties of the University of Seville sing to the Immaculate Virgin on December 8. From this building we can admire the Alcázar, the Cathedral and the Archive of the Indies.
Archivo General de Indias
It is a building that has all the documents that were used for the conquest of the New World, such as cartographic maps, navigation charts ... All this information is organized in 9 kilometers of shelves, so not even in 100 of our lives could we read everything what's inside this building.

5.00Beatriz is an outstanding guide. We booked a private tour of Seville on our cruise ship. During the drive from Cádiz to Seville she took time to get to know us and understand how we liked to tour. She then customized our itinerary to focus on walking, parks, architecture, the things we like best! She is knowledgeable, personable and approachable. 5.00Our guide for this "Private tour of Seville highlights" was Alba Delgado. She was simply amazing. Alba met the two of us at the hotel for this walking tour. From the first minute it was apparent that she was engaging, extremely knowledgeable and had the ability to seek out our specific interests and discuss them, while also showing and teaching things that we were unaware of in a manner that piqued our interest in an unexpected and fascinating manner. She has particular expertise in the Jewish history of Seville, having completed a Master's degree and thesis on the topic. As this was one our major interests, it was particularly appreciated. Her English was perfect, her enthusiasm infectious and her knowledge of the topic (measured, among other ways, by her ability to answer all questions in a direct and informative fashion) was unmatched .We have traveled extensively and we both agreed that Alba was the best guide that we have ever had. 5.00Beatrice is undoubtedly one of the best guides we ever met during our travels across Europe. We visited Seville on 27 th of July. She was literally at the Railway station waiting to meet us when we got to Seville from Madrid. Her warmth, devotion to her work and tremendous knowledge about the history, Architecture and social aspects of each monument, and the city in general, are exemplary. Very important, she made us feel safe and comfortable from the get go , which was important for us as we are an older couple. I commend her unreservedly to all those who wish to understand this lovely city. Bhagyam ( and Murali).
