This private tour is fully customizable. We’ll be in touch with you to design your ideal route.

When you book this tour, you are selecting one of four options: Gamla Stan, Östermalm, Södermalm, or a museum visit with us. The duration can vary: 2 hours for smaller groups (around 2 participants) or up to 3 hours for larger groups (up to 15 participants). If you'd like us to visit the Vasa Museum, there will be an additional cost for the museum tickets. If you want to do an 8-hour tour, we’ll need to charge for the extra hours.

This is a walking tour by default. If you’d like to include transportation, please contact us to add it as an option.

Sophie was an excellent guide, meeting us at our Gamla Stan hotel and leading us through the history of Sweden and Stockholm while touring Old Town, and then showing us Sodermalm with its great views of the city and modern everyday life. This tour was a great introduction to the wonderful city of Stockholm.

We booked a tour of the Gamla Stan area. Elena our tour guide was a charm and very close, made us feel very comfortable. The route was very entertaining, it lasted about 21⁄2 hours. In the end, he stayed as long as necessary to advise us and resolve our doubts... A 10 for her..

Excellent tour. Very well informed guide, with historical emphasis. He was also very personable. The private tour, about 5 hours, was well worth it, and we have found, a very efficient way to appreciate a different environment. Not things easily done on our own.

Absolutely outstanding. Not only is Tale charming to be with, she is incredibly knowledgeable and interesting. She went above and beyond to ensure we got the most out of our time in Stockholm by ending the tour with lists of recommendations, getting us a reservation at a lunch restaurant we wanted and taking us right back to the restaurant before leaving us. Excellent tour in every way and I would recommend her highly to everyone

Sophie took us on an excellent tour around Stockholm. She customized the plan based on our interests prior to the tour and met all of our requests. Our two kids (9 and 14) stayed engaged the entire time (over 7h) and really enjoyed learning about Sweden and Stockholm. Sophie even had a little game for them prepared to keep them focused throughout the tour. Excellent expedience that met all of our ecxpectations. Highly recomended.

This was our second tour of Stockholm with Arturo. (First tour was in November of 2023. Second tour was July 2025). We have been on many other walking tours in the US and Europe. Arturo's tours were without a doubt the best experience we have had. He provides history and detail that others simply can't match. We would go out of our way to book any tour with Rainbow and Arturo. They set the standard of what a walking tour should be.

Incredibly knowledgeable and personable guide for a magnificent city. After the tour it's worthwhile to take time to see the changing of the guards and eat at a local restaurant to get a true taste of Sweden. If coming from the cruise ship I recommend taking a taxi to and from the tour.
