Choose between a focused half-day market experience or extend the journey into a full-day exploration of Ayutthaya.

Both options include the famous Mae Klong Railway Market and a private canal boat ride at Damnoen Saduak Floating Market. See vendors trading beside an active railway line, then experience the colorful canals from the water with your own guide and boat for the group.

Travelers choosing the full-day option continue to Ayutthaya, where iconic ruins such as Wat Mahathat and Wat Phra Si Sanphet reveal the grandeur of the former royal capital. The journey ends at Wat Na Phra Men, one of the few major temples to remain largely intact after the fall of Ayutthaya, offering a valuable contrast to the surrounding ruins.

With private transportation and a licensed English-speaking guide, the experience offers a more comfortable pace, clear explanations and time for photographs without waiting for a large group.

The Half-Day Railway and Floating Market option involves light walking and boarding a local canal boat.

The Full-Day Markets and Ayutthaya option also involves walking on uneven brick paths, outdoor surfaces and some steps at historical temple sites.

Guests must be able to step into and out of the canal boat. Assistance can be provided, but the boat and several historical sites are not wheelchair accessible.

The Railway Market visit is planned around the public train timetable. Railway delays or schedule changes may occur, and the order or timing of the market visits may be adjusted accordingly.

Visitors choosing the full-day Ayutthaya option should wear clothing that covers the shoulders and knees for active temple visits.

Child prices on the booking platform are based on age, while some Ayutthaya attractions determine admission by height. Child admission fees for the full-day option are therefore paid directly at the official ticket counters. The guide will assist with purchasing the correct tickets.

Pickup and drop-off are provided from one hotel within the designated Bangkok pickup area.

Total duration varies according to the selected option, Bangkok traffic, train operations and local conditions.

The visit is planned around the public train schedule so you may watch the awnings and displays being pulled back as the train passes through, although railway delays can occasionally occur.

This tour was a fantastic way to see two very different sides of Thailand in one day. The railway market was exciting and honestly a little unbelievable to watch in person. Seeing the train pass right through the middle of the market was such a fun experience. The floating market was colorful, lively, and full of food, fruit, souvenirs, and boats everywhere. After that, visiting Ayutthaya gave the day a more peaceful and historical feeling. Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and explained everything in a way that was easy to understand. A very memorable day trip from Bangkok.

Our guide was amazing super attentive and professional. We loved the floating market boat ride, and the history lesson at Ayutthaya was actually really interesting, not boring at all. Definitely the highlight of our trip.

The train market is wild! Seeing the train pass through the stalls is something you have to see once. Then we headed to Ayutthaya. It was a lot of walking, but our guide made it easy and kept us hydrated. So glad we went private.

A crazy long day but totally worth it. We hit the floating market, the train market, and the ruins in Ayutthaya. Our guide was super chill and helpful, especially with the haggling at the markets. Highly recommend if you're short on time!

This tour is the best way to experience three major highlights in one day without stressing about getting around ourselves. We visited the Mae Klong Railway Market first, then headed to the Damnoen Saduak Floating Market for the canal boat ride. After the busy markets, spending the afternoon in peaceful Ayutthaya looking at the historic ruins was a great contrast. The guide took amazing photos for me, and the private car was spotless.

Excellent day trip from Bangkok. The contrast between the busy morning markets and the peaceful ancient temples in the afternoon was perfect. Our guide was fantastic, managing the timing perfectly at every single stop so we never felt crowded. We visited three distinct historical sites in Ayutthaya, and having the admissions included made the whole process seamless. The driver was very professional and the car was excellent.
