The guide was very knowledgeable and easy to spend time with. Giverny and Rouen were both fascinating.

As other reviewers have stated, we spent a lot of time in the car. Giverny was fantastic and our guide was incredibly helpful in getting through the crowd and making our visit there enjoyable. Gardens and house were amazing and the timing of our visit perfect for seeing unbelievable gardens. We felt like we were in a Monet painting!. Rouen was a bit disappointing. Not much there, even for Joan of Arc fans. Our guide made our long day a lot of fun.

Great trip but not gonna lie, a bit too much driving from Bayeux. It was about a 9 hour day, and about half of that was spent driving. This is not the guide or the company’s fault; I just didn’t do the math to see how much time was spent in the car.

This is a very busy day, but it's worth it. We didn't feel rushed at all, but it was non-stop for our guide since he did all of the driving, too. We were lucky enough to have the same guide for two excursion days and he was THE BEST! While he drove us to our sites, we were able to converse all about architecture, history, politics, French life, etc. He was personable, funny, and great with our children. He alone was worth the tours. Giverny was gorgeous. It was nice to have alone time to explore the gardens as a family. Rouen was especially crowded on the day we went, but it was neat to see the spots where Joan of Arc had her final moments. Again though, our guide made it all worth it because he loves history and we could ask any question and he knew the answer. We felt so enlightened and educated, in a fun way. It was worth every penny!
