  My guide, Ivy was so much fun. She met me at our meeting spot right on time and we hit it off right away. Ivy showed me so many great food and drink options in the Night Market. We also tried out the games, bought lotto tickets and used the claw machines for prizes. I had so much fun! I traveled solo and the tour was just the two of us. Her English was fantastic and I learned a few phrases in Mandarin. I would definitely recommend this tour with Ivy.

  We had a great and fun tour with Effi at the Shilin night market. She showed us around and helped us pick and buy the snacks that are must tries. We payed less than $30 for the snacks among the 3 of us. Definitely recommend!

  This is easily one of the best tours or experiences I’ve ever been on in any country. Vicky had so much information and brought us SO to many incredible spots to try local specialties, providing recommendations for each and helping us to order. We learned and ate so much, and all for less than $10 USD per person. This tour simply cannot be missed!

  Lovely tour with Cindy. She was able to show me what all the foods were and what was definitely worth Eating. And what could be skipped. She also told me much history of food in Taiwan. I appreciated it a lot!

  It was so fun to experience this night market, and really helpful to have a guide to show us her favorite spots, including what is worth waiting in line for, and what to skip. Vicky met us at the MRT station and walked us around the night market. We also stopped in the temple for a few minutes while it was raining, and Vicky was so knowledgeable and shared with us a lot about the history, too.

  Really enjoyed the guided stroll around Shilin Night Market. Tasted delicious foods. Was instructed by Jason about the main goddess of the temple there at the market and shown all around the temple. The only thing I wish I had known about this tour was to bring cash to purchase all of the food items. I didn't realize that the foods were not included in the tour price. Wasn't a problem since there was an ATM at the metro station; just would have been nice to know prior to the tour starting.

  I could not have asked for a better guide than May Ei and I had the most wonderful experience with her on this tour. I was able to try so many different kinds of local foods and May was such a kind an knowledgeable host.
