We had an amazing day tour with our guide Pedro! He was very knowledgeable and gave us historical information about all the places we visited. Tour was very comfortable and the restaurant where Pedro took us was really authentic and amazing local Portugal food. Thanks again for a wonderful time.

Great tour. The guide was great and the history was really interesting. We were not able to do Pena Palace, due to road closures, from weather damage, but the other palace was really great. Loved the Regaleira and highly recommend the private tour. Love that we got to walk down the stairs and through the tunnels in the well . It was nice that it was only the two of us with the guide and great that we could go at our own pace. The guide let me hotspot his phone in order to buy the timed tickets to the palace. Make sure to bring a credit card (don't know if you should bring euros in cash too). Goncalo really knows the history of the places visited and there was not a question that he was not able to answer. Perfect personality for a guide and very patient. We did need to walk up a steep hill and stairs to get into Regaleira and go through the ticket area and security. Not a problem, but something to keep in mind if you have issues. Overall great tour and highly recommend.

Our day with Pedro M was great. He was super friendly, informative and made our day very enjoyable. We loved learning so much about Portugal’s history throughout the day and the Pena Palace was a magical place. He took us to the city of Cascais where we had a wonderful lunch at a gorgeous restaurant overlooking the ocean. Thank you Pedro M for a memorable day. We will be sure to contact you next time in Portugal.

Miguel was an excellent guide. Our tour of Sintra and The Well was a very fun experience. Highly recommended. The walking was a bit much as recent storms had blocked the customary access but Miguel kept the pace satisfactory the oldest in our group (75 yo). His knowledge is fantastic about the places we visited.

If you are a history buff, Miguel is your guy! We customized our day trip to include the impressive gardens of Quinta Da Regaleira, a lovely lunch in Santa, Cabo de Roca, and finally walking around the beautiful beach town of Cascais. Miguel’s knowledge of Portuguese history is unparalleled, and he is anxious to share his wonderful country!

Perfect day visiting stunning palaces in Sintra. Carlos was a fantastic host. We adjusted our day as we visited during the 2026 flooding . Visited 3 palaces, dined at quaint place for lunch. So much history and did not find a historical question that could stump Carlos.

Oir trip was scheduled during the worst floods Portugal has seen in decades. We couldn't boat or trIn due to conditions , but our guide gave us a wonderful experience in spite of conditions. He drove us to villages, a winery and lunch and provided us with lots of information about The douro valley and Portugal. A very nice experience. Recommend.

This was the most enjoyable tour ever. First of all Miquel was quite knowledgeable, charismatic and engaging regarding the history of Lisbon, Sintra and Cascais. His narrative brought the stunning beauty of the palaces, gardens and coastline to life. It was a truly lovely experience and I highly recommend it.

Great day trip with Pedro M! Well worth the cost to have a private tour with a knowledgeable host, learned SO much! Pedro spent ample time inside and outside Pena palace and the regaliara. We were able to walk around Cascais and had delicious lunch in Sintra!
