The tour starts with a visit to Quinta da Regaleira, one of the most charming and emblematic places in Sintra, full of history and magic. Here you can marvel at the architecture, visit the famous Initiation Well, the interior of the caves and explore the imposing garden that surrounds the entire palace.

5.00This is the best tour experience I have ever had! Ricardo was so knowledgeable, courteous and patient with us. Due to some recent weather events the usual way to the castle was closed off it because Ricardo is a local he found a way around it all and we still got to see everything we wanted. Sintra is a uniquely beautiful place and having a great guide with us every step of the way made it even better. We never had to wait in lines, he even made a reservation for us at a beautiful local restaurant with the best food!!

He even took the extra effort to call our hotel (since my phone number wasn't working for him) to let them know he would be a little late picking us up due to highway accidents. 5.00Nuno was an amazing guide for our first trip to Portugal. He was interesting and “read us well”. We were able to see many sites. He is from the area so we got expert information. Nuno was flexible when we asked to be dropped off at our last spot in Cascais, instead of driving us back to Lisbon.

He was also very knowledgeable about Lisbon’s history, shared some pro tips for travelers, and was just a really good person who made us feel very comfortable. My daughter and I had a wonderful day and would definitely recommend taking a tour with Ricardo.
