Being the largest Tibetan Buddhist monastery in Yunnan, Songzanlin Monastery, also known as Guihua Monastery, is one of the famous monasteries in Yunnan region. It is located in Shangri -La County Zhongdian city.
Napa lake is one of the most majestic places in the world for horseback trekking during the dry season. It is a plateau seasonal lake, the scenery in four seasons has its own characteristics, in Summer and early autumn it becomes a sea while in winter and spring it is like a meadow.

In the meadow you can always see some horses, yaks, pigs, etc, it’s a quiet palce for hiking.

5.00Wonderful monasteries with beautifully decorated interiors. Photographing not allowed. Monks were going about their business. Set up by Fifth Dalai Lama in 1679. A number of rambling buildings, lines of prayer wheels around the complex. Also called Potala Palace.
