Mysterious Road (Dokkaebi Road)
This mysterious road or goblin road is a strange place where you park your car on a downhill road, but the car that should go down does not go down, but instead steps back uphill. In fact, this is because the side where you can see the uphill road is downhill with a slope of about 3 degrees, so it looks like it is going up due to a simple optical illusion. Due to this phenomenon, word of mouth has become a tourist attraction, and more and more people are visiting. Various safety facilities are currently being added to prevent accidents caused by this, and a tourist park is expected to be created soon starting from the Dokkaebi Road. In 1981, a newlywed couple got out of a taxi and took a picture. The taxi she had parked goes up the hill. After witnessing this strange phenomenon, it became known to the world, More and more people are looking for places that are both free and mysterious.
Eoseungsaengak
Eoseungsaengak is a favorite oreum for visitors who want to climb lightly. The natural ecology is well preserved and is used as a nature learning trail. On a clear day, you can see Chujado Island, Biyangdo Island, and Seongsan Ilchulbong Peak in the distance, and it is 1.3km to the summit of Eoseungsaengak Peak. The tour takes about 30 minutes one way, and the entrance is next to the Eorimok Visitor Information Center. At the top of Eoseungsaengak Peak, which is 1,169m above sea level, Tochka, a Japanese military facility built in 1945, remains. They are connected to each other through trenches, and were supposed to communicate with the underground fortress at the waist of Eoseungsaengak, but they are now sunken and blocked.

We had Mr Kim as our guide, he was very patience with us as I was travelling with older parents. Great guide, very understanding and informative. Great locations to explore and timing was just perfect.

We had an excellent day with the accommodating and lovely Ms. Yang. While her English is limited, she is adept at using a translation app, and we were able to communicate quite well. We went to many beautiful sites that we would not have seen if we had not gone with Ms. Yang.

He couldn't make it for the day we choose but he didn't leave us. Instead, he provided us another driver who was very nice and friendly with us. In one day we have been to many places around the island that we couldn't do on our own with the bus. Absolutely recommend him!

Even though I contacted you late in the day, you responded quickly and connected me with a good driver, so I completed my trip to Jeju successfully. Other places may seem cheap, but there are hidden costs, but it was nice that there was no special request here. The driver knew a lot about Jeju due to his long experience, so I studied history and geography well. If I have the chance to come again, I would definitely like to see you again.

Apart from being an excellent driver, mr. Kim has proven to be a knowledgeable guide and friendly travelcompanion. We explored Jeju island on two separate days with him and were very happy with his guidance. Punctual and prepared for every circumstance, be it umbrellas or bottled water. Very highly recommended!
