Stonehenge

In the morning we travel to Stonehenge and arrive before the large tour groups so that the experience is more memorable and special. Our guides know everything there is to know about Stonehenge and their passion will add to your overall experience.

The Roman Baths

In the afternoon we will visit the magnificent Roman Baths Museum; The only place in England where you can see natural thermal waters alongside a Roman Temple. The City was once called Aqaue Sulis, and shares both Roman and Celtic origins. This magnificent museum will make your jaw drop when you see how well kept the 2000 year old floor looks today. Aside from the temple, Bath offers magnificent shops and architecture from the 18th Century when it was entirely reinvented as a Spa Town. The Queen Square, Circus and Royal Crescent are but justs a few of the magnificent designs of John Wood. Your guide will fascinate you with stories from Roman origins to Georgian glamour and make the story of Bath come to life!

My wife and I took a private tour from London to Stonehenge, Bath and the Cotswolds with Peter. The entire experience was outstanding. Peter picked us up from our central London hotel in a very comfortable Mercedes van. He is very knowledgeable and loves to share his knowledge with guests, and we discussed all manner of British history, politics, etc. with Peter on the drive out. Although it was a crisp January day, Peter kept us comfortable and enlightened us on the mysteries of Stonehenge and the Roman and 18th century history of the lovely city of Bath. I would highly recommend this tour.

Great tour. Oz was very knowledgeable and easy to spend the day with. I highly recommend if you want to get out of London to see the countryside and two impressive sites.

Private tour with Christian was fabulous from the minute he picked us up- right on time! He was full of information, noted what our interests were and tailored our tour around those. We stopped for a photo op in front of Ted Lasso’s pub in Richmond, great tour of Stonehenge (we learned so much from him!) reworked Bath so we had a mini- Jane Austen experience and still had a full Bath experience. We highly recommend this tour and this guide- so nice, so full of knowledge- absolutely terrific!!
