• Adventure, Rain or Shine: A Taiwan Tour to Remember!

  This was my second tour with this company, and I had high expectations—Steven definitely did not disappoint! From the start, he reached out the day before to give me the tentative itinerary and provide tips on what to bring. Expecting a bit of rain, I had packed a small umbrella, but Steven went above and beyond with a large umbrella, raincoat, and even shoe covers to keep us dry! While there is some car time as you travel between destinations, the majority of the tour is spent outdoors exploring, which was amazing. However, I will note that this tour might not be ideal for those with mobility issues since there is quite a bit of walking and stairs involved. A couple of things to keep in mind: packing some tissue is a good idea (not all toilets provide toilet paper), and if you’re prone to motion sickness, the winding road to Jiufen can be a bit challenging. Luckily, Steven is an expert driver, and I had no issues at all. Steven’s kindness and patience stood out to me the most. He helped carry some of my items so I could enjoy the delicious street food at each stop, and he let me take my time exploring the shops I wanted to visit. He also offered insightful explanations about the places we visited. Overall, this tour was a fantastic experience. Taiwan is incredibly beautiful, and this tour takes you to some must-see spots. Highly recommend it for anyone looking to explore and make lasting memories! Thank you, Steven, for such a wonderful day—and for the exercise! 😂

  Hicks was a great and very knowable guide. Hicks knew all the good places to eat and had lots of knowledge to share about the places we visited. He got us to all of our stops quickly and knew how to navigate the busy Latern Festival.

  On this rainy day, Steve was our guide. Despite the rain, wind and the physically challenging terrain, which could be challenging without the rain and wind, the sites were incredible. Steve was extremely attentive to all our questions and needs. Lunch was delicious at a tea house. I would recommend this private tour.

  Nice villages outside of Taipei city. Be prepared to do some walking (on trails and uneven surfaces). We visited in Dec and it was the peak of visitors influx into Taiwan, hence all locations were jammed packed. Recommend that if you prefer less crowd during your visit, consider other than December month.
