Boeng Mealea
Stop at: Beng Mealea, 40 km east of Angkor Wat Cambodia Travel around 66km away from Siem Reap Center. The temple complex has never been restored and it is a fraction of the size of Angkor Wat's visitor population. Take sometime to unwind and rest in the broad, open grounds, surrounding the temple. Travelers can have a pleasant morning spent wandering around the temple in relative peace and quiet. If you are into photography, this also implies that you can capture some amazing shots if you go.
Koh Ker Temple
Stop at: Koh Ker Temple, RN64 - 2km south KOH KER site entrance and Srayang 100 Km North of Siem Reap Cambodia Koh Ker Lost Archeological Site can be found 120 kilometers northeast of Siem Reap. Koh Ker most likely served as Jayavarman IV’s state temple when it was the capital of the whole empire (928–944 AD). The Khmer monarch, Jayavarman IV, moved the capital to ChokGargyar, which has since become Koh Ker.

I had a wonderful time with this tour. The guide, Mr. Seng Heak, and our driver both did a good job and were always interested in how they could make the tour a great experience. Koh ker is the highlight, reminiscent of pyramids in central & South America. The sites on this tour were less restored, more ruined and in the jungle than Angkor wat and temples closer to Siem Reap. It's part of their charm and uniqueness. It makes for a good contrast and 2nd day after Angkor Wat, Bantei Srai, etc. So glad I found this tour and company.
