Lake Sevan

Kecharis Monastery

Being close to Yerevan, Tsaghkadzor, which translated means a city of flowers, is a very popular place among tourists both in summer and in winter. Kecharis Monastery built in the 11th century stands in the city center. It comprises of 4 churches, courtyard and 2 chapels. Tsaghkadzor ropeway is a famous adventure one cannot miss once in the city. A fantastic view and emotions are guaranteed! It’s a good possibility to see the beauty of the Armenian nature and Teghenis Mountain. In the winter you can go skiing or snowboarding after reaching the top, because in winter the city becomes full of winter-sport lovers. Professional athletes from all over the world come here for sports camps, but it is also a great place for beginners. Everyone who visited here will claim that tracks are simply gorgeous. The cost for the ropeway is AMD 2,000 one direction. For those who like adventures and adrenain, Tsaghkadzor zipline is always a good choice. It operates every day 11:00 to 18:00. The cost for one person is 10.000 AMD (21$).
