What To Expect
Tsaghkadzor
Tsakhkadzor Ropeway is located on a slope of Teghenis Mount. From the height of 2819m, where the speed chairlift will take you in 32 minutes, all Armenia is visible at a glance – in clear weather, it offers a breathtaking view of Mount Ararat .
Lake Sevan
Lake Sevan is the largest body of water in Armenia and the Caucasus region. It is one of the largest freshwater high-altitude (alpine) lakes in Eurasia.The lake is situated in Gegharkunik Province, at an altitude of 1,900 m (6,234 ft) above sea level. The total surface area of its basin is about 5,000 km2 (1,900 sq mi), which makes up 1⁄6 of Armenia's territory. The lake itself is 1,242 km2 (480 sq mi), and the volume is 32.8 km3 (7.9 cu mi). It is fed by 28 rivers and streams. Only 10% of the incoming water is drained by the Hrazdan River, while the remaining 90% evaporates.

5.00Gera Trip is very accommodating when it comes to your tour. Our tour guide/driver Armin from Armenia is very friendly and safe driver. He will make sure you are comfortable in your tour, he will even let you use his mobile for youtube for the car music. :))

5.00Our first guided tour and the best. I storngly recommend Gira Travels to all visiting Armenia or Georgia. We had done 6 day 5 night tour to Georgia with our wonderful guide Arman. We covered most of Georgia and are more than happy with the trip. As we travelled with a one year old this trip was more than gratifying..thanks to Gira Travels. What I liked about them is they are very understanding and you can provide an itinerary that suits your requiremnt.( Not many travel operators do that) Very accomodative in that regard. They give you enough time to see and enjoy the place. Above all they are quite reasonable. We were also able to do paragliding and it was a subliminal experience. We keenly look forward to visit Armenia with the same Travels.

5.00Excellent service by GIRA TRAVEL, highly recommended..Aram surprised me with his quick responses to all queries, honest guidance and seamless coordination while planning our quick 4 day tour to Yerevan from UAE. Armen was our allotted tour guide who did a wonderful job of taking us around, and being flexible on stops etc, also adding a homely flavour to the whole experience. 5.00Had so much fun going to the Tzaghkadzor Ropeway and experiencing snow. Mr. Arman was our guide for the day and he’s really kind and knows a lot about Armenian history and culture. I really learned a lot from him. He was also very supportive in taking photos and he speaks English really well. He even took us to a secret place not listed in the itinerary! I would recommend booking tours in Gira since we got our money’s worth. Can’t wait to go back!

5.00Our trip was made possible with the best and warm services of Gira travel, our tour in armenia was great, special thanks to Kuya armen, I would recommend this to my kabayans, coz aside from very good service, Affordable price and they speak English well.
