What To Expect
Akumal
The adventure begins in Akumal, a picturesque beach located in the Riviera Maya. Participants meet local guides who provide a brief introduction to the activity. Equipped with snorkeling equipment and life jackets, visitors enter the sea. This area is known to be a natural habitat for turtles, which can be seen swimming peacefully near the surface or feeding on seaweed on the bottom. During snorkeling, swimmers have the opportunity to swim alongside these majestic sea creatures. Turtles are known for their beauty and gentle behavior, allowing participants to enjoy up-close encounters while watching their graceful movement underwater. The excursion continues towards a nearby coral reef. Guided by local experts, you will explore this vibrant underwater ecosystem, home to an incredible diversity of tropical fish, colorful corals and marine life.
The Jungle Fish restaurant in Akumal, Riviera Maya, offers a unique dining experience in a natural and relaxed environment. Located in front of the beach, it combines local Mexican flavors in its menu. It offers a variety of dishes including fresh seafood, ceviche, grilled meats and vegetarian options, accompanied by tropical cocktails and refreshing drinks. The atmosphere includes decoration that integrates with the natural environment, views of the Caribbean Sea, and friendly and welcoming service.

5.00We took a private tour with this company. Hisael was our guide. Our tour was perfect from start to finish. We are not early riser so we were a few minutes late and it was not a big deal. They recommended we start early to avoid the crowds with the turtles and it was worth it. We saw amazing turtles and stingrays. Our guide was absolutely perfect and took care of our family, including my four-year-old who he pulled along in a life buoy. We then went to a beautiful cenote. Our hard to please 13 year old loved being able to dive off the platform. Finally we ended at a local taco stand. In addition to being able to support a local business it didn’t hurt the same picky 13 year old said they were the best tacos he’s ever had. Highly recommend this company ans Hisael as your guide.

5.00We had a tour with Hisael and it was great! He picked us up at our hotel and drove to Akumal to snorkel with the turtles and fish. We had a guide helping out and pointing out the fish and they did great with my 8 year old who had never snorkeled. Then we went to an uncrowded cenote, which was really cool. We all loved swimming around and jumping off the ledge. Lunch was at Juanita’s in Dos Ojos and it was so good! My daughter got to hold their parrot and there are tons of swings and fun for kids. Thank you Hisael for a fun day!

5.00Our guide Limber was simply amazing. Arrived timely in a lovely clean and airconditioned car. He was very knowlegeable about the sites, flora and fauna, his English and German were top. It felt like spending the day with a great friend who had everything organised for us. It was money well spent!

5.00Great excursion with our guide Ruben at the top, very friendly. We swam with the turtles and saw beautiful and non-tourist cenotes, we were alone. Lunch very good. Perfect, I really recommend.

5.00From start to finish, this tour exceeded all expectations. Although our original car had issues and couldn’t take us, the team handled it incredibly well – within no time, they arranged a new driver and guide, and the day went exactly as planned. We had a private guide with us to help find sea turtles, and it was such a magical and personal experience. After that, we visited the most beautiful cenote I’ve ever seen – crystal clear water, peaceful surroundings, and simply breathtaking. The day ended with a delicious local lunch that felt authentic and full of flavor. Everything felt well-organized, professional, and personal. Huge thanks to the team for turning what could have been a hiccup into one of the best days of our trip!
