Driver was 15 min late. About 2 minutes after departure, driver hit a curb and we got a flat tire. Took an hour and 15 minutes to change. Dirty tire put on top of my backpack which got filthy and then got my dress all dirty. Was offered to have dress dry cleaned. Not a great start to trip.

We booked this transfer from our hotel in Sorrento to the train station in Naples. Our train was at 10:40 am on Saturday morning. The tour company recommended pick up 3 hours prior to our train even though the drive to Naples is about an hour. I wanted to book an 8am pickup thinking that 3 hours was overkill. They even called me the day prior to recommend 7:30 pickup. We settled on 7:45. FYI - 2 hours is WAY TOO long to kill in the Naples train station! It’s not like an airport where you have security and bag check to deal with - you just hop on your train when it arrives! I understand they need to cover themselves and certainly need to allow for traffic - but be advised that even with traffic 3 hours prior to your train is way too early for pickup in sorrento. The driver was lovely and I had no problems with the actual transfer.
