What To Expect

Longqing Gorge

After early morning pickup by your English speaking driver at your Beijing hotel, first travel in a private comfortable vehicle to the Longqing Gorge (about 2 hours driving time), located in the northern part of Yanqing County, about 90 km away from urban Beijing. It is characterized by encircled landscapes and beautiful natural scenic views. As one of the three gorges in suburb Beijing, it has gained the reputation as the "Little Three Gorges" and the "Little Lijiang River". You can enjoy a relax boat cruise along the river in Summer. .

Guyaju Caves

Then continue to the Guyaju Caves . Guyaju means ancient cliff dwelling, about 90km northwest of Beijing. There are altogether 117 stone rooms located in this area, very well kept and maintained. Sometimes the caves is called the biggest maze of China. It is the biggest cave residence was ever discovered in China. Lastly, you will be transferred back to your hotel in downtown Beijing

I really enjoyed this activity. Everything went as expected. The driver was friendly and spoke basic English as advertised. He helped me navigate the various entry fees and patiently waited for me for each activity to end. Note that it’s a long day as you start at 7:00am and it takes over 2 hours to get to the Gorge and the caves. I was not back until 5:00pm but did so much that day including a lot of climbing.

I had a great time on my tour today. Mr. Guo, my driver picked me up on time and was super pleasant throughout the ride to the gorge and caves. He took the time to help me get tickets at the various activities and was patient with me throughout the tour. I did not feel stressed or rushed and he made the journey very pleasant. I would highly recommend this service as I did not have to worry about anything and the tours were spectacular!

My husband and I took the day trip with Jenny's car service to Longqinxia, located about 2.5 hours driving one way North of Beijing. The driver, Mr. Guo, was promptly on time and very friendly. He spoke some English and was explaining the scenery along the way. We had a very comfortable ride for a reasonable price with Mr. Guo, and had a great time at the park itself. Jenny's car service was recommended to us by a friend about a year ago and it became our favorite since then.
