Every tour is guided by an individual local to the area in a personal, bespoke fashion. Our guides are receptive to the interests and knowledge of the private group and accordingly adapt the tour’s material to their audience. Moreover, our guides are able to highlight the overlooked and forgotten parts of Warwick’s history because of their local knowledge. We do not simply focus on the most eye-catching attractions, but explain and bring to light the hidden treasures of the town in order to provide a more comprehensive historical picture.

Collegiate Church of St Mary's
Depending on whether or not the church is open due to the coronavirus, groups may or may not be able to enter the Church. However, much of the building's history can be appreciated from outside as we learn about the impact of the Great Fire of Warwick, the Church's architecture, the history of the plague in the Church, and the famous individuals entombed inside.
The Lord Leycester
As one of the most famously 'english' buildings in the country - featured in many period pieces including 'Pride and Prejudice' - we learn about the hospital's history and its quirky traditional practices.
Duration: 2 hours: The two hour tour provides a comprehensive guidance around a broader selection of Warwick's history.
Two-Hour Tour: The two hour tour is naturally longer and slightly more demanding physically than the two hour tour

Alex was a great guide who adapted the tour for our interests. Even though we are regular visitors to Warwick he showed us parts of Warwick that were unknown to us. Excellent value for money as most private tours are far more expensive and I doubt that they would be better than this one!

We organised a work away day around Alex's excellent tour of historic Warwick. He was knowledgeable, enthusiastic, engaging and able to answer all our questions. Thanks Alex!

Alex is an excellent guide, it's very easy to walk round a town or city and admire the architecture and surroundings, but with Alex it comes to life, an amazing tour very reasonably priced, if I could give him 10 stars I would, thank you

This was a very good walk. It was geared to the time we had available and the limited mobility of one of us. Alex is very well informed and the tour revealed much about Leamington which was new even for those of us who had visited many times before. We look forward to arranging another interesting and entertaining walk with him.

Alex was a great guide and very knowledgeable about all the key events and buildings in the centre of Warwick. We loved the hidden Quaker garden and the Mill Street garden below Warwick Castle. He tailored the tour to our group’s needs and allowed us to stop off for tea and cake at Thomas Oaken’s tearoom. A very interesting and informative afternoon which I would highly recommend to anyone.

My mother and I thoroughly enjoyed our one-hour tour today. Alex was a very knowledgeable, engaging guide. They pride themselves on their flexibility, and so he was unfazed and very nice about it when we turned up 70mins late with very little notice due to unforeseen traffic-related delays. Alex was very personable and polite, telling us all about many different places and historical events such as the Great Fire of Warwick. The one-hour tour included places such as the church, the old court and the Lord Leister Hospital (currently closed for renovation but we had a lovely talk outside it). I would thoroughly recommend this tour for any visitors to the area, and even local residents wishing to improve their knowledge about local history and architecture. Alex was a really brilliant guide.

9 of us booked a tour after an intense day of meetings. Alex is smart, spoke clearly and is clearly intelligent and closely connected with the town. We all enjoyed our walk round the town and the unique insights Alex brought.

Excellent walking tour of Warwick. Friendly knowledgable lad who knew his stuff and answered all the questions patiently (sometimes repeatedly!). We were a small group and he paced the walking perfectly. Amazing place and Rohan risked life and limb to take our photo at the bridge with the castle behind us (busy road!). Thanks Alex for organising this,
