Greg was so kind and reached out the morning of our 2:00pm tour. I asked places to recommend for lunch and he gave me so many choices and once we decided he changed our meeting place to be more convenient to where we had lunch. We are from SoCal but I lived in Caldwell, NJ for 9 years and had no knowledge of Hoboken. Whenever we are in a new city we like to take a walking tour as we learn so much in short time and can navigate the city on our own after the tour. We were a little concerned that the tour was 3 hours but the time flew and Greg went at our pace as we are a little older. We found Hoboken to be so charming and have every intention to come back for a visit. I plan on a girls trip soon and will take this tour again with my friends. It was like walking with an old friend. We want to thank Greg for teaching us history and making us fall in love with this small but amazing city!

We live in Manhattan and are always looking for new and interesting things to do when my brother and his family visit from California. This was perfect - very easy to get to, low stress, highly customizable, and overall a really fun and engaging way to spend an afternoon. Greg was great! He was knowledgeable, friendly and energetic. He makes you feel right at home. I had been to Hoboken many times before but never realized how much there was to discover. Greg really brings the place to life. Highly recommend if you are looking for something unique and an original tourist experience!

Greg is an excellent guide. We started the tour on the waterfront learning all about Hoboken’s history. We finished the waterfront at Steven’s Institute with a talk about the founding family, before heading into the residential tree lined streets of town. We enjoyed great stops for food and ice cream all while passing by Frank Sinatra’s childhood home. It was also fun to see the connections between Hoboken and Jersey City. Greg is easy going, loves questions and makes the several hour tour feel much shorter. Wear comfortable shoes!

This tour made us love Hoboken, NJ! My 25-year-old son and I really liked that this tour was private so we could customize how we needed. The walk was easy and pleasant as well as informative, and with lots of great stops along the way. Greg was the perfect tour guide: a knowledgeable local, friendly and fun, accommodating and easy going, plus he gave great tips and suggestions, even after the tour was done! He provided a list of restaurants to try which was so appreciated and spot on! We highly recommend booking this tour above any others. Do it now!

My son recently moved to Hoboken and during my visit we came upon this tour. Booking and communication with Greg was excellent. He promptly met us at our meeting spot and we had a wonderful few hours exploring Hoboken and learning the history of the town. He was extremely knowledgeable of the area, the buildings, businesses and overall a delightful time. My son and I both highly recommend this tour with Greg. You will learn about the many layers of Hoboken and what a special place it is.

My wife and I are New Jersey natives, but have never been to Hoboken. So what better way to learn about and explore the city than with a walking tour. Greg was very accommodating and arranged to meet us at a location and time that was most convenient for us. He was knowledgeable, informative and flexible, showing us what interested us the most. I can’t recommend Greg and his personalized tour enough. It is great for New Jerseyans and out of town tourists alike.
