  Christina and Christos are great guides. We were in Athens before departure on a cruise with 4 of our friends and we wanted a walking foodie tour. Christina and Christos showed up on time and ready to deliver an afternoon of fun experiences. We started off walking through history and stopped for a delicious pastry. Then off through the neighborhood to a small cafe for a light native alcoholic refreshment. Continued our trek through various streets seeing ruins and beautiful buildings. We stopped at a wonderful little tienda where we bought local spices and wonderful dried fruit and lastly had a wonderful meal at an authentic Greek restaurant. Our time on this tour was filled with laughter and we made some great memories!! Thank you Christina and Christos

  I don’t do reviews at all. Unless it is truly deserving. Chris & Chris not only gave us a tour but gave us memories of a lifetime. Travelled to 56 countries & always do private tours. Some feel robotic, forced, boring or overwhelming. This was a very experiential tour where the guides’ positive energies resonated all throughout every bite and every step of the walking tour. The pace was relaxed and chill but still we got a lot done. The servings were just right that you had your fill of the city’s offerings without getting satiated. It was like having a food crawl with best buds that it didn’t feel like a tour at all. Christina was the heart of the tour, while Chris was the beat. They balance each other, intuitively proactive on what we needed or what would be good to add to the tour to make ours most enjoyable. Even go as far as helping me out record my own content, without me even asking. Genuine-hearted that after the tour, you just want the best for them. They made our quick layover fun, dynamic and memorable. What started out as food, ended up much more with our hearts full as well. Can’t wait to go back to try out their other tours!   During my trip to Athens, I booked the Food XXL Tour and a transfer with Santorini Angels Tours and it turned out to be one of the best choices I made! From the very first moment, everything ran smoothly. The pickup was right on time and the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. The food tour wasn’t just about eating (though the food was incredible) - it was a full experience of Greek stories and places only locals know. Christina and Christos were the perfect hosts and make you feel happy. If you’re looking for something real, personal and way beyond the typical tourist path - this is it.   We spent our holidays in Athens and booked the Food XXL Tour and one day after paragliding with Santorini Angels - and it was really the highlight of our trip! Christina and Christos were so warm, welcoming and full of positive energy. The food tour was delicious from start to finish and the paragliding experience gave us unforgettable views. Everything was perfectly organized and we felt truly looked after the whole time. Thank you both for such an amazing experience - we’ll definitely be back!

  I grew up in Athens and have been living in England for the last years. On a recent vacation back to Greece, I decided to reconnect with the city I grew up in - and joining the XXL Food Tour with Christos and Christina was one of the absolute highlights of my trip. Even though I know Athens well, this tour opened my eyes to a whole new side of the city. Christos and Christina are the perfect hosts - warm, knowledgeable and full of passion for Greek food and culture. They make everyone feel like part of the family from the very beginning. We explored local markets, small family-run spots, traditional bakeries, and hidden food corners I had never even noticed before - and I grew up here! Every stop had something special to offer, from incredible meze and koulouri to fresh cheeses, loukoumades and so much more. The portions were seriously generous - the “XXL” in the title is no joke - and everything was absolutely delicious. As someone with deep roots in Greece but living abroad, this tour was both nostalgic and refreshing. It reminded me of the tastes and atmosphere I grew up with, but also introduced me to new places and flavors. Whether you’re a tourist or a local, this is the kind of experience that leaves you full in every sense of the word - food, culture and connection. Huge thank you to Christos and Christina - you’ve created something truly special for me ❤️.

  My husband and I had a wonderful time on this tour! Christina and Christos were amazing tour guides who made our trip to Athens a fun one.   The XXL Food Tour with Christina and Christos was really amazing!! 🥰 Both are very kindly and friendly 💜🙏🏽. The restaurants and food were perfectly selected. The tour was very professionally prepared: we were asked in advance if we had any allergies or intolerances, and if there was anything we didn't like. These weren't typical tourist hotspots, truly insider! :-) thank you so much for the great time togehter!! 💜💜💜

  We had incredibly great days in Athens with Christos and Christina. Even before we arrived, we got a lot of information about the city and you could already tell here how much passion they put into their company. The anticipation for Athens was definitely increased again. 😁 Once there we were picked up personally by the two of them and you felt like you were being welcomed by friends. During our stay we were able to get to know Athens from another side. In addition to the sights, we got to know the city from the point of view of the locals. Away from the tourist-designed restaurants and towards truly authentic Greek cuisine. 🤩 We were really spoiled and you definitely won't starve with the two of them. It was fantastic not to be treated like one of many, but to feel like exploring Athens with friends. 😍 We would definitely recommend Christos and Christina to anyone who is planning to make a trip to Athens, it was just fantastic.

  We had the great pleasure of taking part in an absolutely great tour that not only took us through impressive landscapes and exciting places, but also made an unforgettable experience through the warmth and professionalism of our two guides, Christina and Christos. From the very beginning, it was noticeable how much effort the two went to to ensure their guests had an all-round successful stay. With a lot of commitment, humor and an open ear for individual wishes, they have made the tour very special. The food was another highlight – fresh, delicious and prepared with lots of love. It has been noticed that great importance is attached to quality and authenticity. The impressions we were able to collect on this trip were simply gigantic – be it the breathtaking nature, cultural highlights or the small, personal moments in between that will be remembered for a long time.
