Zhujiajiao Ancient Town
Next enjoy the comfortable ride to Zhujiajiao water town, regarded as the “little oriental “Venice, and one of the best-preserved ancient town with 1700 years history. Upon arrival, begin to explore the town with your guide, spend some quality time to visit the old stone paved alleyways, walk up ancient “Fang Sheng Bridge”, see interesting local shops, historical landmarks, colorful handicrafts etc. learn the fascinating custom and culture from your knowledgeable guide. The relaxing gondola ride is available to choose during the tour. During the tour you will have the opportunity to enjoy a delight local lunch. After the wonderful day you will be dropped off at your Shanghai hotel or other downtown area as per your requests.

5.00I’ve only just finished a perfect day seeing pandas munch on their breakfast bamboo, savouring local delicacies expertly cooked and reclining in the back of a gondola drifting down the waterways of Zhujiajiao Water Town. A truly magical and unforgettable experience made even better by Sunny Tour’s expert guide and the most luxurious private chauffeur experience I’ve ever had: Shanghai traffic isn’t so bad when your heated chair is massaging you. I highly recommend the zoo and Zhujiajiao Water Town experience for relaxation, comfort and beautiful memories.

5.00Would have given 6 star if it was possible. Annie was amazing. Very knowledgeable, excellent communication skills, can guess what you are thinking about and very accurate with time management. Would highly recommend the trip. We saw pandas having fun eating and the Zhujiojio water park was excellent also bought pearls.

5.00Our family of 4 (12 year old daughter and 15 year old son) had a wonderful day with Robert. We live in Singapore and are American expats for reference. We are doing a mini tour across China (Shanghai, Xian, and Beijing) for Spring Break and recommend this outing. Nice to get out of central Shanghai (Bund) and see some different parts including the pandas and water village. Highlight was definitely the water boat although a little shorter then I had anticipated (15 minutes) and then we were able to walk the village and get in some shopping. Robert has very good English, attentive to our needs, and overall nice disposition. We enjoyed the day with him.

5.00If you get Robert you will be taken care!! He went out of his way to help us get to a pharmacy before our tour even started. He never rushed us to get back on time and was very patient and answering all our questions. He took us to a nice local restaurant for lunch on the water. I would recommend this tour and even ask for Robert he was such a gentleman and very knowledgeable about his city.

5.00Fantastic tour. Guide was knowledgeable and gave us plenty of time to explore at our own pace. She knew all the tricks to give us the best experience. We got to see the pandas eating, eat local cuisine, and go on an amazing boat ride. The local cuisine was incredible and she helped us order and taught us how to use the plates and utensils. Overall 10/10 experience. We only had a short time in Shanghai and this was a highlight.

5.00We decided to do this tour as we wanted to see outside of the bustle of Shanghai and experience some older cultural parts of this huge city. Sunny Tours were very well organised - they gave us great information on what to expect, and when we had to make some last minute inconvenient changes to the date, they accommodated our request. Out guide Robert came to pick us up at our hotel and at all stages was the epitome of a gracious host. He was knowledgeable about Zhujiajiao, which is a picturesque water village and worth exploring. We also combined this with a trip to the Shanghai Zoo, as I especially wanted to see a Panda up close. Enjoyed the zoo as well, and Robert sorted all ticketing and made it very easy as he knew exactly how to navigate his way around. Saved a lot of time as the zoo is very large. Also experienced a lovely lunch Robert organised looking out over the Zhujiajiao canal. The vehicle was a very comfortable and fancy people mover, with a great driver. Thanks to Robert for all his knowledge and calm nature. Would recommend this day trip if I’m Shanghai!
