We didn’t have many options in Progreso so we thought we would give this place a try. It was great. We were greeted upon arrival. The area was well kept and clean (bathrooms, beach, pool, etc). The service was great and the server checked on us about every 5 minutes. Drinks were cold and food was yummy. We did have some communication difficulties with the other staff since only two staff members speak English but we were in Mexico after all. If you want a laidback, uncrowded beach club, this one is for you!!

Didn’t serve food for the first 2 hours. Didn’t want us to go to the bar for drinks and yet they did not come to serve us frequently. And then

The time is different in Progresso, so you don't have a lot of time at the resort. The whole time we were there, one waiter came over to check on us. Out of a menu of about 20 items, we were restricted to chicken tacos or wings. I had to go to the bar to get our drinks every time. After 5 drinks, we felt nothing. They provided transportation to city bus you need to use. We kept telling them we had to leave. They kept saying ten minutes. Van arrived in 30 after contacting Viator. We were late to the ship. When leaving the result, I asked for a water at the bar. He told me I needed to pay for it. I told him I had the all inclusive package and I started to leave. One of managers chased me down and said water wasn't included in the all inclusive package. Seriously? Cruisers beware.

Beautiful place, it was not crowded. It was very pleasant and the whole family enjoyed it. The staff was absolutely awesome. One of the best excursions I've been on. The big bonus was the food was absolutely awesome!

This quaint beautiful beach full of amazing shells is the best kept secret. We were blown away by the service! The nachos were so fresh and the berry margarita was just fabulous! Make sure to leave time for ride back to ship.
