This 2 acre organic farm has both indigenous and non indigenous fruits and vegetables. Linda, owner, and Angel, graduate of natural history and ag courses at UH, led the tour of the orchards, flowers, and vegetables. We sampled fresh picked from the tree for citrus, tree tomato, and mulberry. Fresh hand picked green beans. After we toured, we sat in a shaded cover and tasted more of the various citrus, including lemon fingers. Olou, native Hawaiian, husked a dry coconut and several fresh green coconuts for dried coconut, fresh coconut water, and fresh coconut white. He chopped "spoons" from the green coconut to use on the fresh coconut white. We learned about some native Hawaiian trees and plants and ate some fresh (we picked) fruits. Linda and Angel offer to gift samples of whole fruits and vegetables - if you are staying for a few days, or live on the island, it is a great opportunity for fresh organic foods. Oh, and Mele, the labradoodle, will greet everyone gently.

Fun and interesting tour of a working upcountry farm. Owner Linda and her amazing team were very welcoming, and showed us not only how they do their sustainable farming practices, but also gave us a chance to sample the farm’s harvest and to taste fresh coconut and coconut milk, husked in front of us. A lovely addition to our day in upcountry Maui.

In the cool sweet air of Kula I thoroughly enjoyed the relaxing, yet stimulating and informative small group tour by locals who love, respect and care for Maui. Mahalo for using environmentally friendly farming practices to produce delicious fruits, veggies and gorgeous flowers, and habitat for happy bees! My favourites: dragon fruit, finger limes and tomatoes.

The owners grow sustainably crops like vegetables, fruits, and citrus as well as with a hydroponic green house for delicious tomatoes. The design is well thought out to maximize the best growing locations. Even the rock wall next to the parking is a blaze of succulents. The view is worth it. It is easy to get to and the owners are delightful.
