After meeting outside the port, we dive into Puerto Plata's vibrant culture and history. Starting at Parque Central, we experience local culture and visit St. Philip Apostle Cathedral. We stroll along the unique Pink Street (Calle del Sol) and colorful Umbrella Street, ending with a visit to a local cigar factory and gift shop. A short drive along the Malecon takes us to Fort San Felipe, 16th-century structure essential to Puerto Plata’s defense, offering an outstanding view of the harbor.
Next, we head to the Adventure Park, surrounded by lush tropical landscapes. Refresh yourself in a saltwater pool after exploring the tropical garden and meeting friendly animals. Enjoy a home-cooked Dominican meal and purchase a cold beverage at the bar.

We start at Parque Central, perfect for experiencing local culture and Dominican history. We visit St. Philip Apostle Cathedral, walk along the unique Pink Street (Calle del Sol), and the colorful Umbrella Street, ending with a visit to a local cigar factory and gift shop.
Fortaleza San Felipe
Back on the bus and after a short drive along the Malecon, we’ll arrive at the Fort San Felipe of Puerto Plata, build in the 16th century. Watching this historic site from outside offers an outstanding view of the Puerto Plata Harbor. You will quickly notice why it was an essential part of Puerto Plata’s defense system. Next, we head to the Adventure Park, surrounded by the lush tropical landscape.
