What To Expect

Your activity starts when your guide picks you up from your hotel in downtown Puerto Princesa. As soon as all the other guests in your group are on board, you'll head to Sabang Beach - the drive is about 90 minutes long. When you arrive at the beach, your tour guide will process the paperwork and will help you get on a motor boat to the Park. You'll be given safety equipment like life vests and helmet before entering the cave. An audio device in multiple languages is also available so you can have more information about the cave. You'll go inside the Underground River and marvel at one of the world's New 7 Wonders of Nature. You'll be riding a paddle boat and will be on a 45-minute trip inside the cave. After this, you'll have lunch at Sabang beach where you'll get to taste sumptuous Filipino delicacies. Do not forget to sample "tamilok" as well. It's a woodworm taken from the bark of dead mangrove trees. After lunch, you'll head to Sabang X. It's quite a hike, so be prepared! The zipline ride is about 800 meters long, and it's over the sea. From there, you'll have a fantastic view of the beach, the forest, and the mountains. After the activity, you'll head back to your hotel.

Excellent day. Josh was a delight the whole day. As the only solo person in the group, I felt like an active effort was made to make sure I was included in conversation and introduced to the others. The food was great and the overall excursion very well done and truly beautiful

I met underground river for the first time. My guide Jeff Moon is very patient and wise. I can easily understand his words. I think it’s a good choice for foreigners.

Wow! What a great experience. I truly recommend this excursion, our tour guide Echo was very knowledgeable, friendly and he knows the place very well. He was helping us by taking our photos. We also been provided with buffet style lunch which was very tasty and had great selection.
Mr. Moon 🌙 was an amazing guide!

Kuya Jeff, also known as Mr. Moon, was amazing! He prepared us for what to expect and had great energy and knowledge to show us Puerto Princesa's underground river at Subang. My husband and mother enjoyed the experience as well! I highly recommend this!

We chose to be a joiner for this tour. Shout out to Jeff Bulan, our tour guide who was so amazing! He put us all at ease and made us feel like we were one family although most of us had just met. The tour and activities were great. It is so wonderful to see a city taking care of its natural wonders with so much care. Makes me feel proud to be Filipino!

The underground river tour was incredible. It was a beautiful experience to see a natural wonder like that so up close. The Philippines has done an exceptional job of taking care and being respectful of the space. I enjoyed the audio tour, very informative. We also included the mangrove tour and zip line last minute which I highly recommend. They are affordable add-ons for a great time! Our driver and guide, Kuya RV and Kuya Jeff, were awesome. This was the first guided tour my husband and I went on and it was a very welcoming experience. Kuya Jeff was kind, knowledgeable, and organized, exactly how he was the second day. Highly recommend this tour for the price and experience! PS: We went during rainy season so the water was more brackish because of the mix of waters. We learned that during the drier season the waters of the underground river and mangroves are bluer! Still didn’t change the experience for us!

Corazon gave me a private tour to the Underground River, ziplining, mangrove forest and spelunking/hiking. I highly recommend Corazon, because they helped me to know what options were possible & then made it happen. I had an early meeting flight from Manila and business meetings late in the afternoon. Corazon picked me up at the airport. I was on the first tour boat at the Underground River which was magical. The zipline was nearly 1 km long over the ocean with amazing views. Don't miss the mangrove forest tour! My guide sang a beautiful song about the Palawan mangrove.

Thanks to Corazon Travel & Tours, our 4-day Puerto Princesa City family vacation turned out to be an amazing, memorable, enjoyable, and stress-free experience. We booked a 3-day tour package consisting of an Underground River, Honda Bay Island Hopping, and a city tour at a discounted rate. The trip organizers (Rodelyn and Nica), tour guides (Joshua, Biboy, and Diane), and van drivers (Bel & Vice) that were assigned to us were all very friendly, accommodating, patient, and well-trained. Will definitely recommend them to family and friends!

The Puerto Princesa experience was very good. We only did the nature tripping around PP and found it to be unique and breathtaking with the Underground River Tour. This is suitable for people who appreciates the beauty of PP natural beauty. The journey to the destination was a combination of winding, unsealed roads and longer than I anticipated. Make sure you bring coins P20 to use for public toilet and travel light, and water as it can get very very hot. I would say, getting in and out of the boat to ride on for the river tour or Mangrove tour can be a challenge for an elderly. Not that I am. The seats can be uncomfortable as the river tour is around 30 mintues. Another learning was not to bring anything plastic bag type as monkeys get attracted to it and may steal your personal belonging. Many local merchants selling bags before getting to the island. Interesting, they say this but they also sell mobile phone plastic covers! We enjoyed bargaining with local merchants on bracelets such as Coral Pearl, Onyx and assorted stones that are abundant in the island. Overall, it is a unique experience where we got to see the landscapes of Puerto Princesa.
