Our RIB speedboats are the fastest way to experience the wildlife and the city. Going on a tour in a boat like that is an experience by itself. So you'll move faster and get closer to the puffins!
During the tour, you will learn from our guide about the puffins and other wildlife found in the islands around Reykjavík City. With the boat having only 12 seats, you will have personal access to the guide should you have any questions.
Our warm overalls help you stay warm duringt the tour so you can focus on experiencing the wildlife!

What To Expect
Experience the puffin in its natural habitat in the islands just outside Reykjavík City. Our luxurious 12 seat RIB speedboat ensures a small group experience with a personal encounter with the wildlife and the guide. Our rib speedboats are very fast so you'll get quickly to the islands around Reykjavík and spend the majority of the tour in a close encounter with the puffins. When we arrive at the islands we turn off the engines to make sure you enjoy the wildlife quietly.

5.00It was a great experience. Rebecca, our guide was extremely knowledgeable and very gregarious and helpful. We know everything there is to know about puffins. It was a small group and our safety was paramount without detracting from the enjoyment of the trip. From start to finish it was about an hour and a half so it doesn’t take up your whole day.

4.00We saw lots of puffins, in a couple of locations. Takes about 15 minutes to get to the island the puffins are nesting on. We did get close to the swimming and flying puffins. My husband has a good camera and it picked up puffins sitting at the nesting area, but we couldn't see them otherwise. It would have been great to have binoculars. This is a "rib boat' so a bumpy ride, however the seats have been equipped with a shock absorber system that helps cushion the harder bumps. You might not want to take someone who is frail.
