After being picked up from a convenient central Melbourne CBD location in air-conditioned comfort on this full-day tour, your first stop will be in the beautiful Dandenong Ranges to ride the world-famous Puffing Billy steam train. Next stop is The Nobbies Lookout via the scenic route through the Dandenong Ranges. You will see Seal Rock and the Blowhole, then it’s off to watch the penguins emerge from the rolling waves and make their way home into their burrows.

Pick Up times range from: 12pm – 2.30pm
Return to Melbourne approx: 11pm- 12pm

Pick Up times range from: 10am – 11am

Emerald Lake and Lunch: Take a leisurely walk around the picturesque Emerald Lake where you will have the opportunity to purchase your own lunch.

Puffing Billy: All aboard this historic steam train for a ride on Puffing Billy from Emerald to Belgrave. Enjoy this iconic ride through the glorious Dandenong Ranges, one of the most popular tourist destinations in Victoria.

Nobbies:

Tourist Information Centre: Here you will be able to find out all you need to know about the Nobbies Blowhole and Seal Rock precinct.
Lookout And Boardwalk: Take on the glorious views of the Nobbies and Seal Rock region from this spectacular lookout. Then walk the boardwalk with ocean views to the Nobbies blowhole and Seal Rock and enjoy the stunning surrounds.

Phillip: Island Penguin Parade And Dinner: After purchasing your dinner at the venue you will be ready to witness the world-famous Penguin Parade. Watch the penguins emerge from the rolling waves and make their way across the sand to their burrows.

Please note: ALL babies/toddlers/children up to age 15 must purchase a CHILD ticket.

* Please be aware outside of summer months we may not always be able to visit The Nobbies due to reduced daylight hours.

Matt had great insights and suggestions, he was the best guide we could ask for, kept us prepared for everything.. A highly recommended day tour... Just follow what the guide says and you will have a good time... We had enough time for everything and spotted all the animals we set off to spot... watching the penguins in their natural habitat going about their business was a great feeling.. A must do! Lucky for us, the weather was good too, it was a perfect day trip :)

We had an amazing experience on the Puffing Billy & Phillip Island tour with Lorraine. She was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and organized throughout the whole day. Lorraine made the tour so enjoyable and made sure everyone was comfortable and having a great time. She explained everything clearly, shared interesting facts about each place, and gave us plenty of time to enjoy the beautiful locations. From the Puffing Billy train ride to the Penguin Parade, everything was perfectly managed. Highly recommend this tour, especially with Lorraine as the guide — she truly made the experience memorable!

Our tour to Puffing Billy and Penguin Parade was excellent. The train ride was a unique experience, riding with legs outside the carriage! The route was great, winding through beautiful countryside for an hour with time for photo & video shots of the smoking & whistling engine. We then moved onto the penguins struggling to leave the water and return to their burrows on land. The staff who organized these 2 events were very professional & courteous. The key to the tour was our driver, Terry, who was a mine of information on Puffing Billy, The Penguin Parade and life in Australia. He ensured that our schedule was maintained throughout the day so that entry to Puffing Billy & Penguin Parade were not delayed. Thanks to Terry!

We booked the longer day session early morning pick up so we could have more time at the venues. Without reason we got bumped to a shorter day. Only by email. So turned up at the meeting site and basically told your not on the list.. no explanation.no call this number..called the company contact number to a recorded message. So ripped off really. 4hours less meant we didn't get to the other sheduled sites for long and one not at all. As for puffing billy. It is good and worth the trip. The penguins were cute and a different experience. Kids loved it.
