The tour was marked as completed, but it never actually took place. The meeting point was across from Hotel Windsor. On the day of the tour, the road was blocked due to a protest, making the location inaccessible. No alternative meeting point or instructions were provided. I attempted to contact the operator via WhatsApp (which they used the day before to confirm the booking), but my messages were read and not responded to. In addition, we encountered two other participants at the meeting point who were also unable to reach the operator. They informed us that they had tried multiple methods of contact, including email, phone calls, and WhatsApp, without receiving any response. We then contacted Viator to request a refund. Viator informed us that the refund was denied because the operator did not approve it. As a result, we did not participate in the tour and incurred a loss of USD 168. Very disappointing experience, especially due to the lack of communication.

Terry was a first class tour guide right from the get go. His knowledge is superb and his timing was excellent. He kept us right on track throughout the day. He even told me we were going to see my namesake. We did. We went to Nobbies place!!! Top fella, great sense of humour and great asset to the Melbourne tourist industry. Thanks Again Terry. This is a unique and exciting experience. I never had the puffing trains in my entire life. I and my family fully enjoyed this unique and exciting experience. All the views were also fantastic.

They should know that the time they book isn’t what it ends up with. We scheduled for 10:30am pickup and we were picked up at 12:30pm. The communication with Wine hop tours didn’t happened as they said in their texts or phone recordings. I never received an email or a text back from my question.

Absolutely loved this tour & would definitely recommend. The only thing that was disappointing & lost a star in the ratings was it is advertised as air conditioned bus but it definitely was not air conditioned unless you wanted HOT air. The back of the bus was so hot making us feel nauseous so definitely go for the front seat if you can as their are no other windows on the bus except front seat. The Tour guide think his name was Matt if I recall was AMAZING & couldn't have had a better guide.

I gave this tour 4/5 for the places we visited which was beautiful and our tour guide Matt was fantastic. However, the tour company could do with better communication, I couldn’t get hold of anyone as in my TripAdvisor app I couldn’t see the itinerary or anything, after emailing I still didn’t get much communication back . The bus was very old and not comfortable at all, there was no mic so poor Matt had to tell everyone about the place before or after we got somewhere . It also had no blinds and the sun smashed in on is all day which was very uncomfortable as it was such a hot day.
