This isn’t your average food tour—it’s a journey through Qatar’s island district, from the luxurious charm of The Pearl’s diverse precincts to the vibrant energy of Gewan Island, guided by someone who knows these neighborhoods inside out. One of the few tours in Doha personally hosted by a lifelong resident—no generic scripts, just real stories and genuine hospitality.
You won’t just sample food—you’ll explore pastel canals, stroll beachfront promenades, and enjoy bites you’d never find without insider insight. With stops tailored to the season, the route is thoughtfully curated for comfort, flavor, and discovery. In the summer, we reduce walking and use A/C transport; in cooler months, you’ll spend more time outdoors soaking in the views. Sip Karak tea by the marina, taste authentic Middle Eastern street food, and end your experience with Arabic coffee and a scenic boat ride through The Pearl’s island-lined marina.
P.S. Come hungry—you’ll want to savor every last crumb!

Enthusiastic, knowledgeable young guide (whose name escapes me). Took us to the modern sights of Doha. More of a tour of Pearl Island with tasty traditional snacks along the way completed by a relaxing electric boat tour of the central marina area. Spectacular lighting at the end of the tour on the extremely modern buildings along with a commentary about Doha daily life. Clean, tidy air cond. car and pick up from our hotel. A great way to see some of Doha, be fed and while away an afternoon/evening.

What a wonderful 5 hours we had with Imad. I searched hard to find a unique food & sightseeing tour and this did not disappoint. Imad was both friendly and knowledgeable and we learnt so much from him, The food stops were also great - would have loved more food history (maybe because I'm a foodie and also a food tour guide in my home city) but we had no complaints. It was a wonderful few hours and we highly recommend.

Out of the 7 food and drinks we got to sample we really only enjoyed 3 of them which is completely subjective. There was a lot more driving that I expected but the real downside for me was the tour guide constantly being on his phone either texting or on calls most of time he was driving us which is not only unprofessional but completely unsafe. He was also continuously lighting up to smoke during our tour which is again highly unprofessional and completely concerning for those of us with medical concerns like asthma that can’t handle being around smokers. The last stop for us was Arabic coffee which is not something I want to be drinking at almost 9pm so I didn’t partake. The boat ride was a nice feature but overall I can’t recommend both from a professional standpoint point and the fact it’s highly overpriced for what you get. Uber is so cheap in Doha just venture out for kebabs, Karak tea and Karen on your own and save a ton of money.

Had a 2 days stop over at Doha an did this food tour - would highly recommend it. Had a wonderful time with Emad. The food option’s were good - loved the shawarma the most. They were very thoughtful and made adjustment to my dietary preferences (only chicken). This tour had best of both worlds- walking across Perl and Jewan island as we explored our food joints and then boat ride with an up close view of the yatchs 🤩. The only change I would make it pick a 4pm slot instead of an 11am which made it super hot in the afternoon.

Nasir offers an excellent food tour of Doha. You will try multiple culinary delights throughout the area including traditional copies, teas, dinners and deserts. I highly recommend this trip for anyone interested in the foods of Qatar and the ability to try dining locations you most likely would miss without this tour. I cant recommend this tour enough. The tour is very informative, professional, and just a great experience.

We did this tour on our last evening in Doha. It was brilliant. Our guide picked us up precisely on time at the meeting spot (which was very convenient and easy to find). The commentary was great, and because we moved around by car, we got to see some very swanky and expensive parts of Doha that we wouldn’t have otherwise seen. The star of the tour was the selection of foods, which was outstanding. There was almost too much for us to eat to be honest. So, you won’t go hungry in this tour (unless of course, you eat enormously of course). We felt that this tour represented really good value for money and throughly recommend it to you. Enjoy!

Emad picked us up from the metro station and took us for a very informative, very scenic, very interesting 4 hours around Pearl Island and Gewan Island. This was topped off by periodic stops to eat delicious traditional food. I am very glad we did this tour.

Emad was a wonderful host! We enjoyed so much great food, and he was a wealth of knowledge throughout the entire experience. This tour was more than just a food tour — we learned the history of Qatar, explored from Gewan to The Pearl, and finished with a relaxing boat ride. Emad went above and beyond to show us so much more than we expected. Highly recommend!

My wife and I recently joined Emad for the Qatar Island District Sightseeing Boat and Food Tour with 7 Tastings, and it turned into one of our favorite memories in Doha! As first-time visitors, we were nervous about navigating the city, but Emad’s warm smile and endless enthusiasm put us at ease from the start. We began at 8:30 PM, and the cooler evening breeze paired with the city’s glowing lights made it feel like a dream. Emad’s knowledge blew us away. He shared quirky stories about Doha’s history—like how a local fisherman inspired one neighborhood’s design—while driving us through stunning areas we’d never have found on our own. I’ll never forget how he pointed out a hidden mural that perfectly captured Qatar’s spirit, sparking a lively debate between my wife and me about our favorite colors in the artwork! The food stops were a treat. Emad took us to cozy local spots where we tasted seven dishes, including a spicy lamb stew that made my taste buds dance and a sweet date tea that my wife couldn’t stop raving about. He even laughed with us when I fumbled trying to pour the tea traditionally—his patience was incredible. Each bite felt like a story, and his explanations about the spices made me appreciate the culture even more. The boat ride around Pearl Island was pure magic. As we floated past the shimmering skyline, my wife squeezed my hand, and we both teared up at how romantic it felt. Emad quietly adjusted the pace to let us soak it in, which meant the world to us. The smooth transport and perfect timing of the tour added to the seamless experience. This tour was more than we hoped for. Emad’s personal touch, from his humor to his insights, made it uniquely ours. I’d recommend it to anyone visiting Doha, especially couples or first-timers eager for authentic flavors and sights. We’re already planning to book with Emad again next time!
