The tour was excellent and began at 1001 Rue du Square Dorchester. Although scheduled for an 8:00 AM departure, the bus waited for two couples who arrived late and ultimately left at 8:20 AM. After approximately 1.5 hours of driving, there was a 15-minute stop for restrooms and snacks. The tour guide joined the group upon arrival in Old Quebec and led a brief but informative 20-minute walking tour. She then instructed everyone to return to the bus for the next leg of the trip to Montmorency Falls. Unfortunately, a few people did not return on time and, due to the tight schedule, had to be left behind in Old Quebec. The stop at Montmorency Falls was short but breathtaking—it’s a place you could easily spend an entire day exploring. Afterward, the bus returned to Old Quebec, where the tour guide concluded her portion of the trip around 2:15 PM, giving everyone free time until 4:30 PM to eat and explore on their own. There was no stop on the return journey, and the overall trip lasted approximately 12 hours.

Long day but well worth it. Bus ride has one stop that breaks it up. Guide in Quebec was fantastic and it’s a charming very European city. The falls are beautiful too

The booking confirmation indicated a pick up time of 8am at Auberge Du Vieux Port, a site selection when purchasing. We arrived at 7:45am at Auberge hotel. At 8:08, having no sight of a bus, I contacted via Viator. I received a response from Jessica. I called for an explanation. I was told the bus pick up was at 7:25am and that I have to call 24 hours prior to confirm hotel pick up. She also mentioned of another pick up location that was not on the confirmation. I never received any text nor email notification. Desperate to join the tour I thought we would go to Quebec. I asked reception of the hotel ways to get to Quebec and was suggested the train. We took the Uber. On our way to the train station, I got a hold of ext 225 Sandra, I believe, and was told I can meet the bus in Quebec at 11:45am. She suggested me to call back once I reached Quebec. I felt reassured. As we reached the train station, I'm told the next train is at 12:45pm so I asked how else I can get there sooner and was suggested to take the bus. We took another Uber. We reached the bus station and were told the next bus at 11am. There is no way for us to be in Quebec at 11:45! I called ext 225 no answers and decided to leave voicemail with my call back number and desperate plea for a callback. I never received a call back. I looked at all emails nor any notification that could have prevented my "misunderstanding" on this specific booking. There is no email nor any notification with detail showing the location of 1001 Dorchester Square. Also, there is no indication of calling 24 hours prior nor receiving any "voucher" as Jessica mentioned on her text message via Viator. "you have to call us 24 hours prior the departure time to arrange a pick up time as states on your voucher." As of this writing, they have not addressed the issues . Not only have they ruined a family vacation but have disregarded the human element of compassion in this service industry. I have asked for a refund and Sandra offered only partial refund. I plead that perhaps both Viator and Gray Line/Coach Canada could look into so my experience will not be repeated.
