The fleet consists predominately of European AS355 Twin Engine Squirrels (seats 06 passengers plus pilot). They are ideal aircraft for scenic flights, with an open plan cabin making for excellent views for all passengers. The Helicopter Line has the highest levels of Civil Aviation Authority certification for scenic helicopter operations, this involves regular monitoring and audit of all aspects of the operations.

5.00This was something we’d been talking about doing for years—and it absolutely lived up to the anticipation. What a trip! From the moment we lifted off, it was clear we were in very good hands. The pilot was excellent—not just in terms of smooth, confident flying, but also with really engaging and informative commentary along the way. It added so much to the experience. We were lucky enough to have a perfect weather day, which made all the difference. The views were simply spectacular—the mountains looked stunning, and seeing them from the air gave a whole new perspective you just can’t get any other way. All up, it was a fantastic experience and one we won’t forget in a hurry. I’d recommend this trip to anyone without hesitation—absolutely fabulous.

1.00We booked for helicopter glacier ride. When we got there for the ride due to the bad weather they changed ride from 50 minutes glacier ride to 30 minutes snow landing ride. I was told I will get the partial refund from trip advisor. Tried to contact trip advisor unable to get in touch. I like to know how to get the partial refund. Ride company said they already sent the email to trip advisor.

5.00After 2 cancelled flights due to poor weather at Franz Josef we flew from Queenstown. It was a fantastic experience! Our very knowledgeable pilot pointed out landmarks on the way and circled to show us a glacier in more detail. Then we landed! What a privilege to set foot on a glacier! It was the highlight of our holiday in New Zealand.

5.00We had an amazing experience flying over snow capped mountains to land on a glacier. The whole experience absolutely exceeded our expectations by a mile. It didn’t hurt that we had perfect weather which allowed us to truly appreciate the stunning scenery. A definite bucket list item that everyone visiting Queenstown should consider doing. The whole process from start to finish was professionally executed and made it easy for us as the guests.
