Gibbston Valley Winery
The first stop of the day is at the iconic Gibbston Valley Winery. Gibbston Valley is one of the region's founding wineries and it's here that we will join a guided tour through New Zealand's largest underground wine cave and enjoy tastings of some of their world-famous wines.
Kinross is our second stop and a fantastic location to try a range of different wines across multiple labels. Along with producing their own wines, their cellar door host will also showcase wines from smaller producers and share their incredible stories of how they came to be. After your wine tasting, we allow extra time to enjoy lunch. Kinross has a range of delicious dishes on its menu, including pizzas, platters, smaller bites, and mains. This is ordered and paid directly on the day, giving you the flexibility to order what you would like based on your taste and budget.

Fantastic trip for those time poor and wanting to experience some of the best South Island wines NZ has to offer. Our guide Katy was fantastic, kept the trip running like clockwork and had a great medley of tunes to make the drive even more enjoyable. Pick up and drop off in the Mercedes minivan was comfortable and seamless, and we managed to fit in a lot in the one day. Met some lovely people as well which was icing on the cake. Highly recommended!

The Altitude Wine Tour to the Central Otago Valley was a great introduction to some of the premier wines in the region. Marri was a fun guide and she was keen to share her knowledge and experience. The red and white wines we tasted exceeded our expectations. Highly recommended🍷

We enjoyed getting to taste all the different wines with some of the history behind the vineyards. Our tour guide driver Do was super friendly and made the trip really fun! We enjoyed her sing along on the way back to town. the only thing we would have liked to have more of was a tour of the vineyards or at least a little bit to see the views and the actual crops but all in all we were very happy with our tour.

Great day with the lovely and knowledgeable Lee to some great wineries. Would heartily recommend. Kinross a standout for wines and food and Ayrburn for the venue.

We absolutely loved our wine tasting trip! Shanay was our driver and was wonderful! We loved each and every winery and our lunch was really good. Just the right amount of time at each stop. Our group was marvelous we had someone from around 6 different countries which just made the trip more fun! I would highly recommend this experience!

Our driver for the day was Beth and she was very good at informing us of the day and how it works and also providing us with a little bit of history of the area and New Zealand. You get about 3-4 tastings at each winery with a mix of white and red. I liked that we had the option to stop for lunch (at your expense) but I wish we had more time to eat because by the time the food arrived we only had about 15 minutes before we had to leave for the next winery. Overall, I enjoyed my experience and most importantly, I enjoyed the wine!

Driver Leonie was friendly, caring and professional. Tour was timely, group of people we travelled with were from America, Australia and Germany and they were all so lovely and we had the best time together. The wineries we visited were great. The food was lovely too. Couldn’t fault the whole experience. Highly recommend.

Amazing time. Lee was absolutely fantastic as the tour guide. Great stops and choices of wine. Seems long at 6 hours but you'll wish it was longer.
