Enjoy four unique tasting experiences across boutique cellar doors & iconic estates, including a visit to New Zealand’s largest wine cave.

What To Expect
Gibbston Valley Winery
The first stop of the day is at the iconic Gibbston Valley Winery. Gibbston Valley is one of the region's founding wineries and it's here that we will join a guided tour through New Zealand's largest underground wine cave and enjoy tastings of some of their world-famous wines.
Kinross is our second stop and a fantastic location to try a range of different wines across multiple labels. Along with producing their own wines, their cellar door host will also showcase wines from smaller producers and share their incredible stories of how they came to be. After your wine tasting, we allow extra time to enjoy lunch. Kinross has a range of delicious dishes on its menu, including pizzas, platters, smaller bites, and mains. This is ordered and paid directly on the day, giving you the flexibility to order what you would like based on your taste and budget.

5.00Awesome day trip with 11 other folk from different countries. Our guide Amy was very friendly, knowledgeable and encouraged us to try everything. Beautifully presented wines by wine advisors and the opportunity to purchase as well. Lovely day out to Gibbston Valley.

5.00Had a great experience. It may seem like 4 wineries is a lot but it was well-paced, and the wineries and the wines were different enough to suit most tastes. The small bus was comfortable and our guides Amy and Chase made the trip extra enjoyable with commentary and local information. They had ability to keep anything purchased (including non-wine items like cheese) cool, which was a nice touch. You can tell Altitude knows what they're doing; it was down to a science without at all seeming formulaic. How you enjoy the wine will vary person to person. I found some I like a lot, and I'm from Northern California. :-)

5.00Every trip to New Zealand should include some wine tasting and this was a great way to do it. Very short ride to the wineries and only minutes from one stop to the next. Each one had something different to offer. Heidi, our guide, was the best! With her knowledge of the area and great music selection she made the whole trip fun!

5.00This was a wonderful day out with a great bunch of people who after a few tastings we got to know very well. Lunch stop was also great. Best of all our 2 guides Amy and Chase were both knowledgeable and a delight to spend the day with. I can see why this tour gets 5 out 5 ratings.

5.00We spent the day with Amy and Chase as our hosts / guides . What a fabulous day it was visiting the vineyards around Queenstown. Just great. Each of the vineyards we visited was unique, all the wine was excellent with a host at each venue to help, beautiful grounds and scenery. And as Amy was driving we could enjoy the wine. If I could give this day out 6 stars I would !

5.00A small group wine tour and lunch worth a wine lover's time. Four wineries to try New Zealand wines topped by a delicious lunch...fungi pizza with truffles for me. Edita, our guide and driver, was knowledgeable and helpful...making the entire experience more enjoyable.
