Gibbston Valley Winery
The first stop of the day is at the iconic Gibbston Valley Winery. Gibbston Valley is one of the region's founding wineries and it's here that we will join a guided tour through New Zealand's largest underground wine cave and enjoy tastings of some of their world-famous wines.
Kinross is our second stop and a fantastic location to try a range of different wines across multiple labels. Along with producing their own wines, their cellar door host will also showcase wines from smaller producers and share their incredible stories of how they came to be. After your wine tasting, we allow extra time to enjoy lunch. Kinross has a range of delicious dishes on its menu, including pizzas, platters, smaller bites, and mains. This is ordered and paid directly on the day, giving you the flexibility to order what you would like based on your taste and budget.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Fantastic Day of Wine, Scenery & Laughs! We had an amazing day on our wine tour! Ana, our guide, was super fun, friendly, and made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Our group was a great mix of people — lots of laughs and good vibes all day long. The wineries we visited were absolutely stunning, and the gourmet lunch was delicious. We tried a wide variety of wines at several cellar doors, along with some yummy local cheeses. A real highlight was the Gibbston Valley Wine Cave — such a unique and beautiful experience. We even bought a few bottles to take back to Australia for a special occasion. Highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a fun, relaxed, and memorable wine-tasting experience! 🍷

What a fantastic day! Elena was the perfect host - she has such a lovely warm, friednly nature, and the right amount of organizational quality to keep the tour rolling! Each winery was welcoming and informative, and we appreciated the boutique aspect of many of the wines we sampled. It was evident that Elena and/or Altitude tours has a great relationship with the winery staff. We would definitely do an Altitude tour again.

We had such a great day on this small group wine tour. Allegra, our driver and host, was so knowledgeable, sharing information about the Queenstown area as she drove us through the beautiful countryside to 4 different wineries. We were warmly welcomed at all locations and tasted some amazing wines. There was absolutely no pressure to purchase wine, although nearly all of us did! This is such a great way to experience the beaty of the Queenstown countryside and taste some local wines, without having to worry about driving yourself. I thoroughly recommend this day tour.

We booked the tasting tour at Queenstown. This was our first time joining wine tasting. We were really enjoy small group of tour as it made it feel personal. The coach was spacious and comfortable. Our tour guide Mary did an excellent job, who was a passionate and knowledgeable expert on vineyards. Mary has showed her knowledge and thoughtful on the overall logistics and we never felt rushed.
