Wine Hopper Bus
Join our flexible & hassle-free local winery shuttle service. Departing daily from Queenstown at midday (12.00pm). With no set timetable & no stress, all the wineries are very close together making it easy to give you the best day out & we'll have you back in town by 6pm (approx.).

5.00Great easy going wine tour which was small relaxed and flexible in which wineries you want to visit and how long you want to stay , you wouldn’t get that flexibility either a large coach trip . Blake the tour guide was knowledgeable and extremely friendly

5.00I like the fact that our driver/guide asks us the wineries we’d like to visit as we get on a bus, and she plans our route based on that. I got to visit 4 wineries in total and all were great! I’d totally recommend this tour to others and will do this again for myself. Thanks to Clair, our driver/ guide who is friendly and informative for the efficient and enjoyable tour!

5.00We came to NZ on our honeymoon and the wine hopping tour was what my wife was most excited for. Claire was amazing, personalized our tour, and checked in on us multiple times throughout to make sure we were having a great time. She arranged a luncheon at Kinross separate from the rest of the tour and that was an incredible experience. My wife never wants to leave Queenstown.

5.00The wine tour was excellent. We were given a great recommendation for lunch and Rob was very knowledgeable about the different wineries we passed. There was an issue with the bus before collecting us but we were kept informed and it didn’t dampen the day. Communication was excellent. Thoroughly recommend Queenstown Wine Trails!

5.00We booked a Gibbston Wine Hopper tour and had a superb experience. We turned out to be the only two on the tour. Rob our guide and driver was professional, informative and so helpful. He made suggestions and tailored the trip to suit us. He was patient when some wineries were busy and waited in the bus and smoothed our entry at others. We learned so much and had such an enjoyable happy time. I can thoroughly recommend this tour.

5.00My wife and I got to go on what ended up being a solo tour with Andrew making for a really relaxed afternoon as we let him show us around the best of Gibbston Valley. His laidback nature and connections with the wineries made for great experiences at each place and we really enjoyed going at a relaxed pace. Would definitely recommend!

5.00One of our favourite experiences in Queenstown by far! This is by far the easiest and best way to see some amazing wineries. We jumped on the bus and Claire asked what we wanted to see and where we wanted to go, after we told her we didn’t mind and had no wineries in mind she organised an entire day for us with our preference of wine in mind and we were blown away with her choices! Also Claire’s knowledge of the area was so interesting and showed a true passion for the job. We cannot wait to come back purely to do another wine tour with The Wine Hopper crew! We will be recommending these guys to everyone we know coming to Queenstown. Thank you to the Hopper crew and special thank you to Claire for making our day feel so special and us so welcome.

5.00Our driver T was amazing. Deep knowledge of the wines and vineyards in the area and it was a great alternative to other wine tours where you are locked into their itinerary. We were able to sample many wines and eat whatever we wanted along the way during this tour. Great karaoke during the trip as well. Will definitely book again! Thank you
