What To Expect
The tour starts at Imagine Ecuador office at 8am, we will drive through the volcano route for about 3 hours , in the way we visit the Saquisili and Pujili market on Thursday and Sunday. When you arrive to the entrance of the Quilotoa Lagoon you will walk down to the shore of the Lagoon where you can take a boat ride or just enjoy the landscape. The ascent you can do walking or you can rent mules for 8USD , in the entrance you will have the lunch and then you will drive back to Banos, where you will be around 5pm.

5.00Amazing views the whole day. We made a few stops on the way with great views and visited an Indian tribe from the Andes which was cool to see. The hike down quilotoa was a little bit difficult due to the trail being steep, rocky, and a little slippery but it was 100% worth it for the views at the bottom. The way up was very hard if you’re not used to the pressure at those altitudes but there are horses for $10 you can ride up which makes the hike to quilotoa accessible to anyone who wants to see the views. Our guide was great he was very patient and super friendly. Overall 10/10 experience.
