The Blue River is a treasure of the central Colorado high country. The river rises south of Breckenridge near Quandary Peak at 14,200 feet, and flows downward through the town of Silverthorne where our float begins. The river rushes through the White River National Forest, and the scenery surrounding the river is stunning, with tall trees and lush pasturelands. Sections of this pristine river are renowned for trout fishing, but we love the exciting class l to lll rapids (sometimes even class lV at high flows!) You'll see wildlife like bald eagles and osprey, moose, deer, and elk, or maybe a beaver. This river will not disappoint!

What To Expect
The Blue River rafting trip is a great blast of excitement for people on a tight schedule or for those who want an iconic taste of Colorado fun! This exhilarating class lll white water rafting trip puts you in the center of fun 5 miles and departs twice daily. Some years this cannot be run due to a lack of water from the Dillon Reservoir. This year, we're game on!

5.00It was such an amazing experience!! It was calm enough to enjoy all the beauty for the first part of the trip, then just enough splashing and fun to get the heart pumping!!! Coach, our guide was amazing. Friendly, funny and you can tell he has a big heart! Definitely would recommend ✌️

5.00This was a smaller operation than when we’ve rafted before, and we appreciated the individual attention, including that our family of four had our own raft. The trip leader and guides were thorough and efficient, and lots of fun. Our guide, Justin, was skilled and very friendly. We enjoyed getting to know him on our trip.

5.00We had a group of 5 guys ages 30 to 35. This was an awesome white water experience. Our trip was on the Blue River with Nathan and Colin. The rapids were great, the scenery was amazing and the guides were awesome! Highly recommend this trip to anyone looking for a great half day rafting trip!
