The Kicking Horse River in Golden, British Columbia provides the best white water rafting in the Canadian Rocky Mountains. Our company has been providing river rafting trips on the Kicking Horse since 1982, as well as other beautiful rivers in this area.

Minimum age for Full Day Discovery and Half Day Express is 12 years old and 90 lbs (41 kg)
Minimum age for Gentle Family Rafting is 7 years old and 50 lbs (23 kg)
Please advise your lunch preference, if tour with lunch is selected (Full Day Discovery and Gentle Family Rafting): hamburger, veggie burger, breaded chicken burger or smokie (big hot dog); Please send us a message after checkout to advise the requested information

Full Day Rafting - Discovery
Full Day Rafting - Discovery: Our most popular trip, our full day trip has you rafting 26 km of the Kicking Horse River and includes a riverside BBQ lunch Duration: 5 hours: This trip starts at 9:15 am and finishes around 2:30 pm. Please arrive to our base by 9:00 am at the latest. Includes a riverside BBQ lunch: Please let us know what you'd like after making your booking. Options are hamburger, veggie burger, chicken burger or hot dog
Half Day Rafting - Express
Half Day Rafting - Express: This trip is perfect for anyone who wants an exciting bit of whitewater, but is on a time crunch. Duration: 3 hours: This trip starts at 11:00 am and finishes around 2:30 pm. Please arrive to our base by 10:45 am at the latest
Family Whitewater Rafting
Family Whitewater Rafting: A fast paced float on the Kicking Horse River. There are a few splashes and a BBQ lunch. Suitable for kids aged 7 and 50 lbs. Duration: 4 hours: This trip starts at 9:15 am and finishes around 1:00 pm. Please arrive to our base by 9:00 am at the latest. Unforgettable First Rafting Experience

5.00It was my first time rafting, and it was an absolutely incredible experience. Our guide, Dan, made me feel safe and comfortable from the start. I was very nervous because I'm not a strong swimmer, but those fears quickly disappeared once the adventure began and the adrenaline kicked in. The entire trip exceeded my expectations. It was exciting, fun, and far less intimidating than I thought it would be. I would do it again in a heartbeat. I highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a rafting adventure in Golden. Every staff member, from the driver to the guides, was friendly, professional, and helped make the day unforgettable. One of the highlights was the delicious lunch served midway through the tour. It was a great chance to relax, take in the scenery, and recharge before getting back on the river. Don't skip the media package. It's well worth it and a great way to relive the experience afterward.

5.00We booked the days rafting adventure. And what a day we had, the weather was perfect 🌞, the river was high and fast and our guides Dan & Sam were brilliant. Safety was exceptional We had so much fun and lots of laughs on our river adventure The digital media package is very professional and a great reminder of a great day out If we had the time we would 100% do those again

5.00Stellar experience with Glacier. We did the full day tour as a family, and the whole day was easy-going yet well organized, and Glacier clearly focuses on customer experience - lunch and a fire ready and waiting for us mid-day, everything went seamlessly. Our guide Dan was clearly well experienced and good natured, guiding us expertly down the river and pointing out the key features. Muzza’s photography is spectacular and well worth the purchase. Great comraderie at the end of the day to round out a fantastic experience. Can’t recommend enough.
