  We really enjoyed our day to Hana and beyond. Our driver/guide was a plethora of knowledge about the area and landscape. He was so upbeat and kept us amused the whole day! I y was a long day, but well worth it!

  The whole trip was amazing. The guide was local which was beneficial to get the perfect places at the stops and have data that not everyone had. Beautiful landscapes.

  While the road to Hana tour allowed us to see a large part of Maui that we would not have seen, we did not enjoy our tour guide. We were provided with all of the necessary safety guidelines and he was watchful of the comfort level of everyone in the van, but he continued to tell many stories of his own relationship and the alcohol consumption involved. We felt that the tour allowed us to see a surface overview of the east side of then island, but we were not at any stop long enough to really explore or enjoy it. The lunch was basic and the venue for eating lunch did not allow the group to mingle and get to know each other. After our Road to Hana tour we took the tour to Haleakala for sunrise with a different tour company and we learned so much more about the culture and history of Hawaii.

  Overall, it was a good trip. Driver was friendly but was sick, unfortunately. He was not in a space to chat but did a good job overall. It is nice to have someone navigate the winding roads which can be very tight and curvy. The down side is you can not stop and explore those neat places you see along the road. You are on the timeline of a the tour /tourguide. You must balance that with the trade off of having someone drive those scary roads.

  This tour is a great low-stress way to see some of the most scenic parts of Maui. The road is challenging, so I wasn't comfortable driving it myself. This tour and our guide Sean made the drive easy and entertaining. It is long but there are plenty of scenic rest breaks. If you want to see all the gorgeous scenery of the north shore of Maui, I'd recommend this tour.
