Guide was excellent with thorough knowledge of Raleigh history. He spoke clearly and loud enough for our group of 12 to hear. Walk was at a pace for all to make.

We live in the area but it was great to learn so much about how Raleigh came to be! We’ve been in downtown many times previously, and have walked right by these historical buildings. Andrew was an excellent guide and very knowledgeable and personable. We are going to seek him out for other tours. It was an hour well spent and we highly recommend!

A lot of walking, The picture of Pink house gave me the idea of a tour of historic homes, not the outside of historic buildings. Guide was very knowledgeable. I will not be recommending this tour.

Andrew our guide was very knowledgeable. It was very warm the day we walked so one hour time was sufficient

Andrew is passionate about history and knows a ton. He is interesting to listen to and we could not stump him with any questions. I was accompanied by my 13 yo granddaughter who was engaged in the whole tour. We’ve lived in the Raleigh area for over 20 years. Just wish I’d done this sooner. He offers several other tours and I am anxious to check them out. We were with another couple who had done the black history tour before and they came back for more.

I took the Downtown Raleigh Historic Walking Tour this past weekend (Sunday). It was my first interaction with this company and I didn't know what to expect. It turned out to be an absolutely amazing experience. The historian was so knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about the subject matter. I loved this tour, I learned so much about Raleigh and I'm recommending this event to everyone. I will definitely use this company again.

Shout out to Andrew, who was exceptional at guiding us through downtown Raleigh with an encyclopedic mastery of the information! He even handled my (slightly off-topic) questions about local criminal trials with an incredible degree of knowledge. To Andrew, I remembered the author’s name of the paperback murder mysteries I got at the Peterson estate sale: Mickey Spillane! What a coup! Thanks for a great conversation and afternoon!
