It is the ancient and medieval heart of Barcelona, a labyrinth of narrow pedestrian streets full of history, shops and restaurants, located in the Ciutat Vella, between La Rambla and Via Laietana, and borders the sea and Plaça Catalunya. It is one of the most attractive areas of the Catalan capital and its streets are dotted with medieval buildings, such as the Town Hall and Generalitat buildings, Barcelona Cathedral and the Gothic churches of Santa Maria del Pi and Sant Just i Pastor. Here you will also find the Jewish Quarter, a network of alleys where part of the ancient synagogue is still preserved.

Cristian was a wonderful tour guide. As a local from Barcelona he had so much more to share with us about Barcelona. He was very engaging with us and made the tour fun. The walking was well worth it.
