Ranua Zoo

Ranua Wildlife Park is presenting a wide range of the natural wildlife animals of Finnish nature but there are also some special species from other Arctic areas of the world. One of these specialties is the biggest land predator in the world, the polar bear. This tour is suitable for the whole family and Ranua Wildlife Park is one of the leading destinations for families in Lapland. It is home to around 50 species of wild arctic animals and 200 animal specimens. The Wildlife Park is approximately one hour south of Rovaniemi by car. Upon arrival, you will take a stroll through the Wildlife Park, where you can see the interesting animals and birds as well as the magical Finnish nature. Lunch is included in the visit and you will also have free time to visit souvenir shops in the area.

A nice experience in this wildlife park. All immersed in the snowy woods Some animals are hibernating but others as beautiful as birds of prey are clearly visible. Very recommended

Sad park, animals turn like souls in pain from their cages, empty basins, empty lots surrounded by metal enclosures, a huge disappointment....

The visit to the zoo was great. We were able to see quite a few animals although some of them were wintering or sheltering, but we were able to see most of them. The simple walk around the zoo location is worth it as it is very comfortable and beautiful. Audrey's company was great and made us enjoy the day even more. The food is in the zoo cafeteria, it is buffet style and it is very good. It has enough variety for you to find something you like and it is quite good.

We booked the tour for dec 25th 8am the night before , it shows the trip is confirmed and charged , so at 8am we happily wait at our hotel , but for 30min we wait for nothing , then we got a sudden message from Viator that our trip is canceled and refunded ,not sure if it’s the tour guide’s problem , or Viator app made error , Wouldn’t recommend because nobody replied my message
